On Tuesday, officers of the East Ridge Police Department’s Crime Suppression Team and Criminal Investigation Division served an arrest warrant on Weldon Drive. During the arrest warrant service, officers established additional probable cause and gained a search warrant for narcotics.
Officers located items indicating the resale of marijuana and THC vape cartridges. ERPD seized three cases of vape cartridges (150 ct each), approximately 150 grams of marijuana in California packaging, packaging materials, scales, and $14,000 in cash.
The suspect had fled from officers on March 2, driving in excess of 100 mph into oncoming traffic on Ringgold Road. The arrest warrant served today stemmed from that case.
