FarleyCon, The East Ridge Toy and Comic Book Expo, will be returning to East Ridge on Saturday August 11 at the East Ridge Community Center at 1517 Tombras Ave, East Ridge, TN . Tickets are $5 for adults and children 12 and under are free with a paid adult admission.
We are excited to announce our first guest and returning to FarleyCon is actor John Anderson. Anderson is an actor, comedian, and self-proclaimed professional “Trick Talking Meat” who hails from Birmingham, Alabama. He landed his first major motion picture role as a Ravager in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
John also appeared in Black Panther, Stranger Things, Sleepy Hollow, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Discovery Channel’s Manhunt: Unabomber, Logan Lucky, Pitch Perfect 3, I, Tonya, Jumanji, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, The Case for Christ, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, MacGyver, Being Mary Jane, and Tyler Perry’s Too Close to Home. He will appear in a number of television shows and movies premiering later this year, and most recently appeared in Make-up Artist Magazine, displaying his alien movie make-up as a Hurctarian Ravager.
Anderson was given his first speaking role by Oprah Winfrey in her production of The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. He is one of 10 Ravagers from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 personally selected by James Gunn to attend a 2016 Comic-Con surprise celebration in San Diego. The event was filmed and is now airing on CONtv.
Further, art featuring Anderson’s likeness as a Ravager was included in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2: The Art of the Movie.
Also appearing and signing items you bring for free is actor Aaron Brewster.

Actor AARON BREWSTER will be live and in person at FarleyCon. He will give away free autographs or will autograph stuff you bring from home or download from his face book page. He will also have items at his table for purchase. As a bonus, have your picture taken with this world renowned actor for free, either dressed as the Russian Hydra Solider he played in Captain America Civil War or dressed as a savior when he was on the walking dead.

Appearing also is Savana Jade Wehunt. She is in season two and three of Walker (Zombie). In addition to the television series she was also chosen by Greg Nicotero to be in his Webisodes on the AMC website. She is featured in #6. She also was Chandler Riggs’ (Carl) stand in, photo double and stunt double. She did the same numerous times for Madison Lintz (Sophia) and helped her learn to be a zombie. She was also the photo double and stunt double for Penny (The Governors Daughter). She is the popsicle eating zombie on the title page of the Atlanta Magazine article about The Walking Dead – Zombies Are So Hot Right Now.
Other projects she has worked on are MTV’s Teen Wolf and VH1’s Single Ladies and The Following. The movies The Watch starring Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn, Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Madea’s Chirstmas and Project Almanac. She also made a cameo appearance in the indie movie Level 7.
Returning to FarleyCon is Josh Turner and Kaylie Turner. Originally from Indiana, Josh “TKO” Turner currently resides in Tennessee. Josh “TKO” has been a pro wrestler for over 13 years and is also an actor with well known roles on hit shows such as “Nashville” as Jolene’s Boyfriend, “Under The Dome” as The Jeter Brothers, “Lt. Joe Kenda Homicide Hunter” as Bryan Simmons, and also as seen on The Walking Dead.
Josh “TKO” starred in the Ultimate Death Match Series films alongside Kevin Nash, Raven, and many other Wrestling Superstars. Josh “TKO” is also a official ambassador for Fighting for Autism and appears on their behalf.
Kaylie is a young actress from Tennessee. Kaylie has had credited roles in Term Life, Lt. Joe Kenda Homicide Hunter and Snapped Killer Couples amongs her achievements. Kaylie was also a Child Walker in season 5 of The Walking Dead. Kaylie was also a children’s spokes girl for Nascar The Chase 2016. She also enjoys being a cheerleader.
The vendor room at FarleyCon will be packed with comics, toys, collectibles, artist, authors, crafts and more. Come dressed as your favorite character and join our all day cosplay contest.
