September 11, 2025 By Contributed Article Leave a Comment

On Thursday the men and women of the HCSO were honored to join with local law enforcement, first responders, county and city leaders, and elected officials to participate in the Annual 9/11: Day of Remembrance Ceremony sponsored by the Scenic City Women’s Network to commemorate the tragic terrorist attack our Nation endured on September 11, 2001.

During today’s remembrance ceremony, several local elected officials and military leaders spoke including the event’s keynote speaker, retired U.S. Air Force Brigadier General, Kevin Hyde.

As part of today’s ceremony, the HCSO and Chattanooga Police Department Joint-Honor Guard presented the colors and several members of our Judicial Security Services were present ensuring a safe event.

Please join us as we remember those who were killed or injured during the tragic events of September 11, 2001.
