Jan. 12 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports” provided by the administration.

January 09 – Night Shift

1502 Prater Road / Suspicious Person:

Police responded to this location regarding a white male running from the backyard of the residence south on Prater Road. Police were unable to locate the middle age white male in the area.

6514 Ringgold Road / Arrest:

Police were flagged down at this location and advised that a white male wearing all black clothing was “hassling” patrons of the business and knocking down the light poles at a business across the street. Police located the male who was arrested for public intoxication and vandalism of the light poles at Wally’s restaurant. Police were unable to identify the male positively, so he was booked as John Doe at the Hamilton County Jail.

4320 Bennett Road (East Ridge High School) / Burglar Alarm:

Police located an unlocked exterior door to the Library.  Officers cleared the school with HCDOE Keyholder securing the open door and clearing the motion alarm in room 104. Keyholder reset the alarm. No further action was taken.

4214 Ringgold Road/Warrant Service:

Frederick Carr was arrested on an East Ridge Warrant while in custody at the jail.

905 S Seminole Drive /Warrant Service:

Rico Weaver was arrested on a Collegedale warrant during an investigation of a suspicious vehicle sitting in the parking lot. Collegedale transported Weaver to 601.

1506 Maxwell Road:

Bryant Beard was arrested for DUI 2nd and driving on revoked for DUI following a traffic stop.

 January 10 – Day Shift

4510 Pontiac Drive (theft in progress):

Reporting party called police stating there was a theft occurring at 4510 Pontiac Drive. Possible suspect left in a white Chevy Malibu before police could arrive. The white male driver with tattoos on his face. Tag provided 285-CFM came back not on file. The potential victim could not be located and the number on file was disconnected. It is unclear, at this point, if this was a theft or a known person to the homeowner picking up an item from outside the home.

6737 Ringgold Road (Narcotics Violation):

Police, Fire, and EMS responded to an unconscious party sitting in a white Nissan Altima near the parking lot of State Line Electronics.  The driver was located inside the vehicle and appeared to be seizing.  Fire opened the vehicle and EMS transported the individual to Erlanger Main.  While attempting to locate an ID, police found four blue pills that were identified as 30 mg Oxycodone.  Warrants are being sought for the driver of the vehicle.

948 Spring Creek Road (auto theft):

The complainant reported that his black 2012 Kia Soul was stolen from this location on 01/01/2021. (TN 3T56A2)

4232 Greenbriar Road-

A stolen Chevy Malibu that was reported stolen out of East Ridge on 1-7-21 was recovered at this location.

 January 10 – Night Shift

 2100 block Dabney Drive / Stolen Vehicle Recovery:

Reporting party stated there was a vehicle parked on the property of the East Ridge Seventh-Day Adventist Church.  Upon checking the registration on the vehicle, police discovered it was reported stolen from the 4200 block of Cromwell Road on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.

1410 Mack Smith Road / Found Juvenile:

Police responded to this location after receiving a missing juvenile call. A male on the second floor of the building located a 3-year-old juvenile female roaming the hallway at approximately 01:45 hrs. Police were able to determine the proper room for the child and spoke with the child’s mother. She told police that she had fallen asleep and her child must have left the room. A report of the incident is on file with Child Protective Services. The child had no visible injuries and was returned to her mother.

4152 Ringgold Road / Suspicious Person:

Lindsey Swaw was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia after she was found behind Bojangles, near the bushes, smearing paint and makeup all over her face.

728 Frawley Road / Traffic Stop:

Adreanna Totherow was arrested for DUI, resisting arrest, and possession of methamphetamine following a traffic stop.

3700 Sullivan Avenue / Drug Arrest:

Keith Austin was arrested for possession of meth and heroin at this location during a traffic stop.
