The following information was collected from ERPD “pass along reports” provided by the administration.
July 7 Day Shift
6305 Ringgold Road (Hardees)- Disorder-
The caller advised a fellow employee attacked a customer and left the business. Upon arrival the disorder was found to be verbal in nature.
6700 blk of Ringgold Road- Rolling Disorder-
The caller advised of a white male and female fighting in a vehicle. Per the caller they were last seen traveling west toward the interstate. Upon arrival in the area the couple was not located.
I-75 North- Shooting/Person Shot-
A black Ford Explorer and its occupant was shot by the unknown occupants of a gray SUV. The Ford ended up crashing in the construction zone and the driver fled the scene. The driver of the Ford was taken to Erlanger in a POV transport. The suspect vehicle was gone on arrival, last seen north on I-75. This incident is still under investigation.
I-75 North- Road Rage-
The caller advised of a road rage incident occurring on the interstate where another driver threw a cup of liquid at his vehicle. Upon investigation the incident was found to have happened in Chattanooga on I-24 east.
3222 Gleason Drive (Ridgeview Point)- Disorder/Property Damage-
The caller advised of a tenant arguing with her over property damage. Officers responded and stopped the disorder.
302 Dunlap Avenue (Seminole Path)- Domestic Disorder-
The caller advised she and her daughter were arguing over a cell phone when her daughter threatened to kill her. She advised she was in fear for her life. The juvenile admitted to saying she wanted her mother dead. The juvenile was transported to JDU.

Night Shift
3657 Ringgold Road / Deceptive Practice:
The complainant from Michigan rented a room at the Cascades for one overnight stay. The bank card information that he used to pay Cascades was stolen and used to pay for an additional night at the motel. It was also used to make a couple of purchases online. Cascades reimbursed the complainant for the additional charge. For the purchases on Finish Line ($98.33) and Pacifica Sun ($38.33), the complainant discovered the merchandise was delivered to 1615 Ocoee Street, Chattanooga. No further suspect information available at this time.
5301 Ringgold Road / Shoplifting:
Police were called to Walgreens regarding two females shoplifting makeup items. Upon arrival police spoke to management who stated that the females were seen putting items into their shirts. Police spoke with the females who consented to being searched and police located no merchandise from the store. Management stated that they did not wish to file any report.
6519 Ringgold Road/Theft of property x3:
David Maye was arrested for stolen property while being in possession of a stolen vehicle, stolen firearm and a stolen GA tag. The vehicle was released to the owner and the remaining property was placed into property and evidence.
323 Camp Jordan Parkway/Auto Burglary:
Person(s) unknown entered a parked 2012 Honda Odyssey parked on the gravel lot near the south entrance of Camp Jordan Parkway, and stole 4 credit/debit cards.
1200 John Ross Road/Check Hazard:
RP reported two trash cans in the roadway causing a hazard. The cans were removed from the roadway.
AOA vehicle pursuit:
CPD pursued a shooting suspect into East Ridge, ERPD assisted. The pursuit was terminated after the vehicle was lost near Shawnee Trail and Montview Drive. Both the vehicle and driver were located a short time later.
