Day Shift August 14: B Squad
26-007770-1300 BLK Boyd Street-Disorder/Arrest – A woman was taken into custody for vandalism after she broke the back window to her now ex boyfriend’s residence during a verbal altercation; she was transported to jail without issue.
26-007772- 5300 BLK Spriggs Street- Disorder with a Weapon – Police responded to a report of a male possibly armed with a firearm. The party was detained after a reporting party stated she heard him say he was going to get a gun during a dispute involving $30. No firearm was located during the investigation. The man was acting erratically and making statements that were difficult to understand. At the residents’ request, the offending party was trespassed from the property and advised not to return.
26-007781- 4300 BLK Bennet Road-MVC No Injuries/DUI Arrest – A driver was arrested for DUI and Implied consent following a motor vehicle crash in front of East Ridge High school. She was transported to jail without issue.
26-007788-3300 BLK Ringgold Road- Back EMS – Police responded to an unconscious party on the side of the road. The man was treated by ERPD and fire until EMS arrived on scene. It is believed he was having a medical emergency, and no signs indicated an overdose at the time.
26-007795- 5300 BLK Greenbriar Road- Arrest – A woman was taken into custody on outstanding East Ridge warrants for domestic assault, reckless endangerment, and neglect to a vulnerable adult. She was transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
Night Shift August 14: D Squad
26-007800 – Reneau Way / Geswein Court– Traffic Stop/Arrest – An ERPD officer was following and observing a Northbound vehicle on McBrien Road. The driver displayed odd behavior by continuing to look back at the officer following him and making a sudden turn into a dead-end road. He continued driving to the very end and attempted to turn around in the cul-de-sac. The driver exited the vehicle and bizarrely walked towards the officer. He began to tell a story unprovoked that was incomprehensible. The Officer established probable cause to conduct a search of the vehicle. The officer located several baggies of marijuana inside a subwoofer speaker in the trunk, a methamphetamine pipe under the driver’s seat, and more methamphetamine in the shoe of the individual, along with approximately $200. The man was placed in custody for possession with intent to resell, simple possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
26-007810 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Hold – Fort Oglethorpe Officers located a wanted party and contacted ERPD. Officers confirmed the warrant for theft and the suspect was transported to Catoosa County Jail.
26-007812 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road– Narcotics Violation – An ERPD officer noticed individuals on bicycles on Ringgold Road without headlights or reflective lights on the rear. The officer contacted the individuals and explained the reason for the stop. The officer was given consent to pat down the outer layer of clothing. The officer felt a slim cylindrical tube with a bulbous bowl at the end. The officer knew it was a meth pipe and grabbed it. The individual also had 1.6 grams of meth inside his sock.
26-007814-I75 SB @exit 1-MVC No injuries/DUI Arrest – A caller advised that a silver Toyota RAV4 had crashed and was on the opposite side of the guardrail. Upon arrival, police located the vehicle and the driver. After investigation, the suspect was placed into custody and charged with driving under the influence and failure to maintain lane. She was transported to Hamilton County Jail without issues.
Day Shift August 15: B Squad
26-007832- 5900 Ringgold Road- Traffic Stop/Pursuit/Arrest – Police attempted a traffic stop on a black Scion SUV after officers discovered from a previous call that the driver was wanted. He had active felony warrants out of East Ridge and a Federal Felony Warrant. Police attempted a traffic stop, but the driver fled almost striking officer’s vehicle head on. He then attempted to strike two more officer vehicles head-on during the pursuit. The fugitive ultimately crashed at Brookfield Avenue and fled on foot. K-9 Officer Hightower and Officer Quest were able to track and place him into custody.
26-007825-3500 BLK Ringgold Road-Traffic Stop/Arrest – Following a traffic stop, police located an infant not properly restrained in the front seat of the vehicle. The driver was taken into custody for child endangerment, child restrain law, driving on a suspended license, and due care. He was transported to jail without issue.
No Case # 900 BLK Spring Creek Road-Bolo/Warrant Arrest – Following a disorder with hospital staff, a woman was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant out of Red Bank for a violation of a protection order; she was transported to jail without issue.
Night Shift August 15: D Squad
26-007848-800 BLK Pointdexter Avenue- Narcotics Violation – The caller reported, again, that she was allegedly drugged on 07/31/2026. She gave police very conflicting stories regarding the incident. There was no evidence presented to substantiate the claim.
26-007849 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – SIA – ERPD officers were notified of a party that was taking place at a smoke shop. Officers spotted approximately twenty vehicles in the parking lot of the shop after normal operating hours. More vehicles were parked in a neighboring business parking lot than there were customers at the time. Police entered the establishment and witnessed a musical show occurring with 30 to 40 people in attendance, inside the rear of the store. The promoter shut down the event without being instructed by law enforcement. Management stated they plan to hold another event in the future as a fundraiser for a friend. The business had been previously warned by the fire marshal as to their occupancy.
26-007851 – 3300 BLK Navajo Drive – Shots Fired – The reporting party contacted police saying they heard three to four shots near Alice Drive. ERPD officers heard the shots while conducting a traffic stop a quarter mile away. ERPD and CPD officers responded to the Navajo Road area but did not locate any signs of shots being fired in their respective jurisdictions.
26-007853 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/Narcotics Violation – An ERPD officer conducted a traffic stop on a silver Mercury that ran the red light on McDonald Road onto Ringgold Road. The officer contacted the driver, noticed indicators in the driver’s behavior, and asked for consent to conduct a search of the vehicle. The driver gave consent, and 20.6 grams of meth, multiple hypodermic needles, and 19 units of Xanax were located. The driver was placed in custody and taken to Hamilton County Jail.
