Law and Order August 22

The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department.

Day Shift August 21: B Squad

25-008188- Hamilton County Jail- Warrant – A man was served an arrest warrant through East Ridge at the Hamilton Couty Jail for Domestic Assault.

25-008905- Welcome Center- Disorder – Police responded to a reported disorder involving three people. The incident was determined to be verbal only. One was found to have an active warrant out of Catoosa County and was transported to the Hamilton County Jail for extradition.

25-008907- 6900 BLK Martha Ave- Suspicious person – Citizens reported a man acting erratically, described as wearing ripped shorts and no shirt. Police identified the individual, who stated he was dehydrated. He was provided with courtesy transport for medical care.

25-008909 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A man was served with a Forfeiture Capias for Theft of Property while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.

25-008914 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Theft – The caller reported her aqua green Hyper Bicycles Commute beach-comber-styled bicycle was stolen from the front of her residence sometime between 08/19/2025 and 08/20/25. There is no suspect description.

25-008931- 184 INTERSTATE 24 EB- Mutual Aid – Police were dispatched to assist Chattanooga Police units with a motor vehicle crash with unknown injuries. Police stood by until CPD units arrived.

25-008935 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Rd– Domestic Assault – Police responded to a domestic assault at this location. Warrants will be taken out for the suspect.

Night Shift August 21: D Squad

25-008940 – 800 BLK Belvoir Hills Drive – Suspicious Person – A resident reported that a door-to-door solicitor appeared suspicious after he refused to provide identification. Police located the solicitor and identified him as a representative for a window company. The officer spoke with his supervisor who stated he applied for a permit to solicit in East Ridge per municipal code 9-203 (Permit Required).

25-008945 – 800 BLK Donaldson Road – Harassing Threats – A man threatened his girlfriend over the phone. The subject has an active warrant for Domestic Assault against the victim from a prior incident earlier in the day. Police provided an incident report so she could seek an Order of Protection. ERPD checked the area throughout the evening but did not locate the suspect.

25-008948 / 25-008950 – 4100 BLK East Ridge Avenue – Disorders – The tenant reported that her landlord beat on her door and poured cleaning solution in front of it to harass her. Police attempted to speak with the homeowner, but she was not located and did not answer her phone. Police returned to the residence a few hours later for a similar disorder. The tenant stated that her landlord was beating on her door for no apparent reason. She also told Police that she was looking for another room to rent. At that time, Police were still unable to locate the landlord. Police eventually spoke with her when she stopped by the East Ridge Police Department to discuss the on-going issues. She stated she poured cleaning solution on dog urine that she found in front of the bedroom door and denied harassing her tenant. She also stated that she attempted to obtain an eviction order through the Hamilton County Court, but it was denied.

25-008149 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a party was served with an arrest warrant through the City of East Ridge. The charge on arrest warrant was Domestic Assault. A copy of the Conditions of Release were provided to the victim in the case.
