Day Shift August 22: A Squad
25-008971 – 3500 BLK Claremont Avenue – Suspicious Activity – The caller requested extra patrol around her residence after receiving unwanted romantic text messages from her lawn care worker. She was instructed to cease communications with the suspect and advised to contact Police if the messages continue.
25-008957-601 Justice Way.- Warrant Service – While in custody at the jail, a party was served a Forfeiture Capias warrant. The original charge was for Driving on Revoked.
Night Shift August 22: C Squad
25-008974 – 4300 BLK Bennett Road – Disorder / Patrol Saturation – Police Officers saturated the area around East Ridge High School after a School Resource Officer (SRO) requested assistance during a football game. The football crowd was average size but appeared more volatile than usual. SROs intervened in several arguments and prevented at least one fight at the stadium. Upon arrival, Patrol units observed a disorder in front of the school with several juveniles and stopped it before escalating into a fight. Patrol units also responded to another verbal disorder in the parking lot and a suspicious activity complaint involving juveniles near the East Ridge Middle School. Due to heavy Police presence, no assaults, fights, or thefts were observed or reported during the football game.
Day Shift August 23: A Squad
25-008983-3200 BLK Gleason Drive- Auto Theft – Police spoke with the complainant who reported his black 2015 Kia Optima missing. He last saw it on 08/22/2025 at approximately 2300 hours. The LPR system showed the vehicle traveling southbound on South Seminole Road toward the East Ridge tunnels at 0341 hours. The car is identifiable by a large white scratch on the driver’s side and items hanging from the rearview mirror, including a soccer medal and an El Salvador/Guatemala soccer badge. No suspect has been identified. The vehicle was entered into NCIC.
25-008998 / 25-009000 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Pkwy – Domestic Assault – Police responded to the parking lot on an assault in progress between a male and female hitting each other with the reporting party stating the male was dragging the female across the pavement. Officers arrived on scene as the man was actively dragging his girlfriend. Parties were separated and both were taken into custody as the male produced a video of the woman striking him twice with a closed fist.
Night Shift August 23: C Squad
25-009003 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Suspicious Person –Management reported a suspicious person inside the restaurant wearing a Super Mario T-shirt. The suspicious male was approaching customers and initiating unwanted conversations. Police Officers responded to the location and found the man hiding in the restroom. The subject was identified and was criminally trespassed from the business.
25-009004 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Overdose / Assist Other Agency – A man reported finding a woman unresponsive in their room at the hotel. Police Officers responded to the scene and administered one dose of Narcan while conducting CPR. Fire Department and EMS personnel arrived and took over medical care. The female was transported to a local hospital where she eventually admitted to using Fentanyl. While investigating the situation, officers found that the male caller had an active warrant for Larceny through Coffee County, TN. He was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail.
25-009010 – 800 BLK Donaldson Road – Warrant Service – Police received a tip that a fugitive was at this address. The man had confirmed warrants through the City of East Ridge for Domestic Assault and Theft. Police Officers responded to the location and took custody of the party without incident. The party was compliant but appeared to have several serious medical issues. He was taken to the hospital where he was admitted for medical care.
25-009011 – 1500 BLK Mcbrien Road – Intoxicated Person / Arrest – Police Officers responded to multiple reports of an intoxicated person attempting to get into moving vehicles. Police quickly located the suspect and identified him. Officers also observed several scratches and cuts on the subject. Police detained the man and took him to the hospital for medical clearance. At the medical facility, he became combative and assaulted one of the Police Officers who was attempting to assist him. Upon medical clearance, he was transported to the Hamilton County Jail and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Simple Assault.
25-009015- 100 BLK Dorroh Lane – Domestic Assault / Arrest – Police responded to an Assault in Progress. According to a witness, the pair were in a verbal argument that turned into a physical altercation. The male party was found to be the primary aggressor and was taken into custody, charged with Domestic Assault, and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
Day Shift August 24: A Squad
25-009019 – 10 BLK Franklin Place – Domestic Disorder – The caller reported that during a verbal argument, her daughter broke three picture frames and then vandalized a car by scratching it with a key. The suspect left the scene before police arrived. The reporting party chose to press charges, and the total damage is estimated at $1,100. A warrant will be issued for felony vandalism.
25-009023 – 10 Franklin Place – Property- The caller reported that a bedroom window at his ex-wife’s home was shattered, possibly by a dog toy. This incident is connected to a prior case involving their daughter who had left the scene with a dog. Cameras were present around the home, but only the property owner has access to the footage. The same subject is suspected of the vandalism, but no warrants will be issued until video evidence is provided.
Night Shift August 24: C Squad
25-009039- 200 BLK Eads Street- suspicious person – A party reported a male walking through the apartment complex, looking through car windows. Police were unable to locate the suspect and advised the reporting party to call if he returns.
25-009046- 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- Intoxicated Party/ DUI – A man was discovered sleeping in the driver’s seat of his car. The car was parked in the lot one hotel, but the driver rented a room on the opposite side of the adjoined motel. Police located several open containers of alcohol in the backseat and around the driver’s compartment, as well as a small bottle of “Fireball” alcohol in the driver’s pants pocket. After observing signs of intoxication, an officer conducted SFST’s where he observed several cues leading the officer to possess enough probable cause to effect an arrest for DUI.
Day Shift August 25: B Squad
25-009061- Ringgold Rd at Camp Jordan Pkwy- Traffic Stop – During a traffic stop, a man was charged with driving on a license revoked for DUI and was found to have outstanding warrants in Hamilton County. He was also cited for multiple traffic violations. The party requested medical evaluation ; however, due to high-priority calls and delays with his clearance, officers returned to service and will obtain an arrest warrant for the charge.
25-009064-1500 BLK Karwill Lane Apt D-Assault/Arrest – A man was taken into custody and charged with aggravated domestic assault after he grabbed his girlfriend by the throat and hit her in the head with an Arizona tea can. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail without issue.
Night Shift August 25: D Squad
25-004446/4454– 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – Two men were both served with multiple warrants while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail. Both had warrants for theft over $2,500, drugs, general category for resale, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
25-008983 – 3200 BLK Gleason Drive – Supplemental Reports – Following a vehicle pursuit, officers with the Chattanooga Police Department recovered a vehicle that had been reported stolen from the above address. Two men and their juvenile brother were all taken into custody by CPD after they fled from the vehicle on foot. The car was removed from NCIC by dispatch.
25-009071-1500 BLK Truman Ave-Arrest – A woman reported her niece had broken her bedroom door and was on drugs. Police spoke with the caller who stated that the suspect had broken through the bedroom door and made entry into the bedroom without consent. The niece was also found in possession of prescription medication that did not belong to her. She was charged with Vandalism, Criminal Trespass, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
25-009073 – 1600 BLK John Ross Road – Well-Being Check – An anonymous caller requested a well-being check after observing a female walking dangerously close to traffic in the roadway. The woman was arrested for Public Intoxication and Possession of Methamphetamine after police discovered narcotics in her backpack.
