Law and Order Feb. 11

The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department.

Day Shift February 10 : B Squad

26-001249- 6700 BLK Ringgold Rd- Back Fire – Police responded to this area to assist East Ridge Fire after a passerby spotted a fire in the woods. Patrol canvased the area, located the fire, and searched for anyone in the vicinity. ERFD took primary responsibility and extinguished the fire.

26-001253- 3600 BLK Ringgold Road- Theft/ Warrants – The business reported a women had stolen over $300 worth of items on 02/07/2026. Warrants for theft of property and criminal trespass are pending.

26-001255- 3800 BLK Ringgold Road- Trespass – Police responded to a disorder at the store over a couch. Store owners requested two women be trespassed from the location.

26-001259- 1517 Tombras Ave.- Warrant Service/ Arrest – A subject was taken into custody on an outstanding East Ridge warrant for harassment. She was transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.

Night Shift February 10 : D Squad

26-001263 – 3800 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest – A man was taken into custody on warrants through Fort Oglethorpe. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail to await extradition.

26-001267 – 900 BLK Donaldson Road – Fight/Arrest – A woman was arrested for assault after police responded to a fight between neighbors at this location.

26-001268- 3700 BLK Fountain Avenue- Theft – Police were called to investigate a male stealing a package from the front door of an apartment. The reporting party provided the police with the value of the product and a description of the male who stole the package.

26-001273 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Medical – ERPD contacted a woman who appeared to have taken some kind of narcotic. She was slurring her words and nodding off while sitting in a chair. EMS arrived and transported her due to her unstable condition. The business advised that they wanted her trespassed. The trespass warning could not be completed due to the woman’s condition.

26-001275 – 3300 BLK Gleason Drive – Domestic – ERPD was dispatched to the above address for disorder prevention. Upon arrival, officers noticed a male and a female arguing. Officers told the parties to separate, but the woman charged at her husband. Officers grabbed her to prevent an assault from occurring and placed her into handcuffs. The man stated he did not wish to press charges, and he did not fear he was going to be assaulted. The woman was released, and she left the property.

26-001276 – 3300 BLK Gleason Drive – Disorder Prevention – Police responded to this address when a woman called, stating that her soon-to-be ex-husband was threatening to kick their adult son out of the house. Police met with the woman who stated she just wanted the man to stop contacting her. Police met with the husband who stated he also wanted the caller to stop contacting him. The man did state he wanted the son out of the house; however, he was told he needed to seek a formal eviction. The police told both to stop contacting each other.

He was among reporters who were honored by the Associated Press for the TFP's coverage of the 2002 fog-shrouded crash on I-75 in Catoosa County, Dick and his wife, Cathy, live on Marlboro Avenue where they are seen frequently chasing around their three grandsons.
