Day Shift July 9

25-007303-940 Spring Creek Road- Harassment – A woman reported to police that she was being harassed by her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend. Further investigation is needed to determine if charges can be pursued by East Ridge Police.

Night Shift July 9

25-007310 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Suicidal Threats – A man was taken into protective custody and transported for a mental health screening after making suicidal statements to the responding officer.

25-007329 – 3500 BLK Ringgold Road – Intoxicated Person – A man was arrested for public intoxication after police found him passed out drunk on the sidewalk. He thought he was in South Pittsburgh and was shocked to discover he was not.

25-007325-6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Pedestrian struck – Officers responded to the listed address regarding a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle. The victim was observed lying on the ground, non-coherent. The driver of the truck stated that she had stepped into the roadway and collided with his mirror. She was transported in stable condition for apparent minor injuries. At the time of this incident, the woman was unable to answer any questions. The injured person’s dog was taken to East Ridge Animal Services. She had also been contacted by Police earlier in the shift and was found to be a Mental Health Consumer, who claimed to pass out at random due to radiation poisoning.

25-007319 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Theft – A caller reported an unknown juvenile attempted to steal his phone off his UTV while he was changing a trash bag. The caller reported he yelled at the juvenile, who dropped the phone and took off running with the caller’s city issued keys. No suspect information is available.

He was among reporters who were honored by the Associated Press for the TFP's coverage of the 2002 fog-shrouded crash on I-75 in Catoosa County, Dick and his wife, Cathy, live on Marlboro Avenue where they are seen frequently chasing around their three grandsons.
