Day Shift July 17: B Squad

26-006759 – 1300 BLK Saint Thomas Street – Aggravated Criminal Trespass/Arrest – Police responded to this residence after the property manager reported a party was inside the residence after he was previously evicted and trespassed. The man exited the residence without incident and was taken into custody. Due to his admittance of pouring bleach on the property after being read Miranda, he was charged with Aggravated Criminal Trespass and taken to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.

26-006772- 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- Arrest – CID notified patrol of an actively wanted subject. Patrol located the suspect, took him into custody without incident, and transported him to Hamilton County Jail.

Night Shift July 17: D Squad

26-006781-6600 BLK Ringgold Road- Unconscious Person/DUI Arrest – Police responded to the location after a caller reported a male sleeping at the red light at Ringgold Road and Camp Jordan. After an investigation, he was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.

26-006782-3600 BLK Shirl Jo Lane- Domestic Disorder – A man reported that his partner had choked him. Police found no indication of assault and got conflicting stories due to all parties being heavily intoxicated.

Day Shift July 18: B Squad

26-006794- 5400 BLK Oakdale Ave- Trespass/ Arrest – The caller requested that a party be trespassed from his residence. While on scene, officers determined the offending party had two active Failure to Appear warrants out of Collegedale. He was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail.

26-006795- 300 BLK Camp Jordon Parkway- SIA – Police noticed a parked vehicle parked near the end of the Arena. The driver was known to steal power from the park and had been told to use the park only for recreational activities. Patrol contacted the individuals and identified them all to check trespass status in the area. The female passenger, later identified, falsely identified herself to conceal that she had an active warrant. She was placed in custody, charged with Criminal Impersonation and transported to jail.

Night Shift July 18: D Squad

26-006799 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Motor Vehicle Theft – The caller reported that her 2011 Chevrolet Malibu was stolen from the parking lot while she was asleep. She stated that she believed a known subject had taken the vehicle and was heading toward Kentucky. While officers were on scene, the suspect admitted by phone to taking the vehicle to his residence in Scottsville, KY, and stated he would not return the vehicle, suggesting the victim contact law enforcement. Warrants were obtained, and the vehicle was entered into NCIC.

26-006801 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Rd – Traffic Stop / Arrest – ERPD conducted a traffic stop on a silver Nissan Rogue for suspended registration. The driver’s license was checked through dispatch, and it came back revoked for DUI. The woman was placed under arrest for driving while license revoked for DUI and transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.

26-006802- 1500 BLK Burns Avenue – Shots Fired – A party contacted police to report hearing three gunshots near the above address. Patrol conducted a canvass of the area but were unable to locate any evidence of the incident occurring in East Ridge.

26-006803 – 5800 BLK Wentworth Avenue- Disorder with a Weapon – An unknown caller reported a disorder occurring on Graston Avenue where one male was threatening others with a machete. Upon police arrival, the officer instructed the small group not to run, but three males and one female fled the scene into the woods on Wentworth and Yale. Patrol located one male who didn’t run and two others who hid in the woods. One male and one female escaped. After interviews with the witnesses and detainees, it was discovered that the suspect with the machete was in custody and the weapon was located at the scene. The victims were the male and female who fled the scene. The suspect and one other male were taken into custody for evading.

Day Shift July 19: B Squad

26-006814-700 BLK Bacon Trail- Mental Health – The resident reported seeing several people on her screened porch and had photos to support her statement. The photos in question were simply reflections in her bedroom mirror. She was asked to re-position the mirror to remedy the issue.

Night Shift July 19: D Squad

26-006831 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – SIA / Arrest – ERPD stopped a female for jaywalking and almost getting hit by a car. The female identified herself and was found to have a verified warrant for theft of property out of sessions. She was transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.

26-006834 – I-24 WB MM182.4 – Traffic Stop/ Human Smuggling/ Fugitive Arrest – ERPD conducted a traffic stop on I-24 WB on a white Chrysler rental van traveling under 45 MPH and failing to maintain lane. It appeared that the driver was clearly attempting to avoid police interaction. The officer contacted the occupants, none of whom knew each other. The rental was through a third party in Ohio. The driver was paid approximately $200 per person to drive all the individuals to Indianapolis, Indiana, for various reasons. Dispatch ran the driver receiving a return for active warrants out of Rutherford County. After conducting roadside interviews, officers suspected the incident involved human smuggling. HSI was called to the scene, where all four subjects were taken into HSI custody. Three ERPD officers transported the subjects to the HSI office for further investigation.

Day Shift July 20: A Squad

26-006836- 100 BLK Ridgeside Road- Auto Theft – The caller stated her white 2016 Lexus Gx46 was last seen in the driveway of the above address at 2030 hours on the evening prior (07/19/2026). She left her vehicle unlocked and with her keys and wallet were inside the unlocked cabin. Currently there are no suspects. Upon checking LPR data base, the vehicle was observed at HWY 64 and I-75 in Ooltewah around 0318 hours on 07/20/2026. The vehicle was entered into NCIC as stolen.

26-006850 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Auto Theft – An employee of a renovation company stated he left his company vehicle idling while he entered the store. When he returned a few moments later, he discovered the white F-150 was gone.

26-006848 – 5000 BLK South Terrace – Theft from Vehicle – The victim reported that an unknown suspect broke the passenger side window of his Toyota Corolla and stole his backpack valued at $70. Charges will be sought pending identification of the suspect.

Night Shift July 20: C Squad

26-006856 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Road – Disorder – A party contacted the Hamilton County Dispatch Center and requested to speak to an officer concerning an issue with her mother. She reported that her mother was calling her by her birth name and would not recognize her new name. While speaking to police, the caller requested to go to a local hospital for a mental health evaluation. Patrol transported the caller to a hospital where she was admitted as a patient.

26-006864 – 3600 BLK Bennett Road – Motor Vehicle Crash / DUI Arrest – A citizen reported hearing a crash around Bennett Road and Frederick Drive. On scene, police located a Ford Escape that ran into a brick mailbox. A witness stated a male exited the car and ran eastbound on Bennett Road. Officers checked the area and located the driver walking in the 3900 block of North Mission Oaks Drive. It was determined he was intoxicated, and he was charged with Driving Under the Influence.

26-006869 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Suspicious Activity – A resident reported that two males with backpacks were walking through the parking lot of their apartment complex. Police responded to the area and quickly located the two suspicious males with backpacks. Upon further investigation, police found that the two men resided in the apartment complex and they were waiting for an Uber driver to pick them up
