Day Shift July 21: A Squad
26-006871- 5500 BLK Ringgold Road- Wellbeing Check – Patrol responded to the sidewalk regarding a male lying on the ground. Police found the party asleep. Upon waking up, he advised he was having thoughts of self-harm. The man was transported for a mental health evaluation without incident.
26-006880 – 5300 BLK Greenbriar Road – Warrant Service – East Ridge police executed an arrest warrant on Greenbriar. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail.
26-006884- John Ross Rd / Greenslake Road- MVC / DUI Arrest – A man was arrested for DUI following a motor vehicle crash at this location. The passenger, and vehicle’s registered owner, was also arrested for DUI by Consent.
26-006881 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Check Wellbeing – An officer observed a male with a walker laying on the sidewalk. When approached, the male said, “Don’t you ever come near me again,” and walked off, despite being told he was allowed to remain on site.
Night Shift July 21: C Squad
26-006888 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Wellbeing Check / Arrest – A concerned citizen reported that a male was walking in the roadway and appeared to be intoxicated. Police responded to the location and found the male who was eventually identified. It was found that he had an active warrant through Hamilton County for Aggravated Child Abuse and a warrant through Georgia for a probation violation. Police placed the man into custody for the active warrants. During a search incident to arrest, patrol located a small baggie of methamphetamine and a small amount of fentanyl on his person. In addition to the warrants, the man was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Fentanyl.
26-006893 – 400 BLK Alice Drive – Noise Complaint – A man contacted police concerning the city noise ordinance. He reported that his neighbor routinely stands near his balcony and has loud phone conversations late at night. The reporting party stated that he confronted the neighbor on several occasions, but the situation has not been resolved. Police confirmed the time of the noise ordinance and requested him to call the next time the noise violation occurs.
26-006904 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – While in custody at Hamilton County Jail, a man was served with five arrest warrants through the City of East Ridge. Each warrant was for the charge of Theft Under $1,000 (Shoplifting). A Chattanooga Police Officer originally located the fugitive and transported him to the jail for the East Ridge warrants.
26-006906 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity / Arrest – An employee reported two individuals appearing to be unconscious in a Nissan Maxima next to the gas pumps. Police Officers responded and located the vehicle with the unconscious individuals. Patrol eventually gained the attention of the driver who appeared to be intoxicated and ordered him out of the vehicle. A Police Officer located a small baggie of fentanyl in his pocket. The female passenger was removed from the vehicle and identified. During a probable cause search of the vehicle, a small baggie of suspected fentanyl was found in the passenger’s purse. Both were arrested and transported to a local hospital for a medical evaluation. Upon their release, ERPD transported to Hamilton County Jail where they were both charged with Possession of Fentanyl.
