Day Shift July 22: A Squad
26-006921- 1000 Bass Pro Drive- MVC/ Pursuit – The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office pursued a light blue Mazda sedan into East Ridge. When HCSO lost sight of the vehicle, it exited at exit 1 at a high rate of speed and crashed into a vehicle on the exit ramp. The vehicle then drove into Camp Jordan and attempted to elude the driver of the crashed car as they were following the suspect. The Mazda then left and evaded HCSO. The driver was eventually captured and arrested. Warrants from East Ridge are pending for Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Driving on a Revocation for DUI, Improper Passing, Failure to Render Aid x3, and Reckless Driving.
26-006912-3800 BLK Bennet Road-Unknown Trouble – Hamilton County Dispatch advised police they received a 9-1-1 call from an unknown subject stating “get someone over here” before disconnecting. Police arrived on scene and found an open back door to the residence. After several announcements by officers with no response, officers made entry into the structure and found it unoccupied. All attempts to call the number back that made the 911 call were unsuccessful.
26-006914- 6600 BLK Ringgold Road- Traffic Stop/ Arrest – Following a traffic stop, officers recovered a stolen Ruger LCP handgun that had been reported stolen out of Cleveland, Tennessee. A man was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Stolen Property (Theft of Property) and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm after the firearm was found on his person.
26-006924- 4214 Ringgold Road- Warrant Service – A man was served on an East Ridge Alias Capias for Driving on a Revoked License at the Hamilton County Jail.
Night Shift July 22: C Squad
26-006927 – 6500 Ringgold Road – Domestic Assault / Arrest – Officers responded to the above address in reference to a domestic assault in progress. Patrol was notified that a male left the scene in a vehicle traveling westbound on Ringgold Road. On scene, the female stated that her fiancé punched her in the face during an argument while they were driving. Officers observed bruising, redness, and swelling around her right eye and cheek. The male was located at a motel in Brainerd where he was taken into custody for Domestic Assault and transported to Hamilton County Jail.
26-006929 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a woman was served with an arrest warrant through the City of East Ridge for Assault on a First Responder.
26-006936-4214 Ringgold Road-Warrant Service – A party was served with two Forfeiture Capias warrants while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail. The original charges were Forgery and Theft over $2500.
26-006938-4214 Ringgold Road-Warrant Service – A woman was served with an Alias Capias warrant while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail. The original charge was Shoplifting.
26-006941 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Disorder – Police responded to a report of an uncooperative Psychiatric patient. Upon police arrival, the man calmed himself and cooperated with medical staff. Officers returned to patrol after observing the patient’s cooperation.
