Day Shift June 6
25-005974-3200 BLK Gleason Drive-Theft from a Vehicle – A caller reported that she went out to her vehicle and noticed that the center console had been opened and her wallet that had her ID and debit cards in it was missing. She also stated that her debit card was used to order Door Dash, along with other attempted online purchases.
25-005978-4100 BLK Ringgold Rd- Theft – A man contacted the East Ridge Police Department to report a theft. The alleged theft occurred following a car wreck on May 29 that disabled his vehicle requiring East Ridge Police Department’s next on call tow truck. The man stated that he left a safe in the back seat of the vehicle, which he now reports as missing. No suspect information has been reported or located.
25-005986-1800 BLK Gen Oaks Terrace-Property – Police took possession of a firearm lower receiver that the RP found while working on a power pole. The serial number of the firearm had no record when ran though NCIC and the receiver was placed into property and evidence for safekeeping.
Night Shift June 6
25-005994 – 500 BLK Sharondale Road – Aggressive Animal – Police accompanied East Ridge Animal Control to an aggressive animal call after two dogs attacked the neighbor’s dog from a gap in their cattle wire fence. The pet owner of the two dogs responsible for the biting was summoned to City Hall for a court hearing, and her two dogs were issued a 10-day quarantine per the city rabies ordinance.
Day Shift June 7
25-006012 –6700 BLK Ringgold Rd- Theft – Police responded to the bank located for a theft that occurred in the 6600 BLK of Ringgold Rd. A woman reported two individuals she was meeting at the bank had stolen her phone and were trying to sell it back to her for $300. Police intercepted the transaction and pulled surveillance footage from the other location that showed the theft. One suspect was provided with a misdemeanor citation for Theft under $1,000 while the other was provided a misdemeanor citation for criminal conspiracy (linked to a misdemeanor crime).
Night Shift June 7
25-006031- Ringgold Rd/ John Ross- Disorder with a Weapon – Officers witnessed two parties getting into a disorder following a crash. One half stated that the other party flashed a gun during the incident.
25-006045- 3700 BLK Anderson Ave- Burglary – A woman reported that a known man forced her door open and proceeded to assault her. She stated that the male was inside for around ten minutes and then left the scene.
25-006024 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Animal Bite – A man thought he was bit by a snake near the Bachman Tunnels. A medic unit assessed the patient and determined it was not a snake bite but merely a scratch. The party stated he was a mental health consumer and believed he was experiencing paranoia.
25-006028 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service Hold – Walker County Jail reported that a man was in their custody and had a possible warrant for Domestic Assault out of East Ridge. ERPD verified the warrant and submitted a hold for extradition.
25-006042 – 500 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Intoxicated Person – Police responded to a report of an intoxicated male attempting to leave in his vehicle. Officers contacted him and determined that he had a verified warrant through Sessions Court. The party was placed in custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail without issue. His vehicle was left at business with the permission of management.
Day Shift June 8
25-006052 – 200 BLK Eads St – Disorder / Arrest – ERPD received a call about a domestic disorder at the residence. Officers contacted the male involved while he was walking down the street. He had multiple active warrants through sessions along with an active protection order against him from the female. He told ERPD he was at her residence when they were arguing. The subject was placed into custody and upon a search of his persons ERPD located a stolen pistol, suspected cocaine, and suspected Fentanyl pills. The man was charged with Poss of Fentanyl, Possession of Cocaine, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Violation of Protection Order, and Possession of a Stolen Firearm.
25-006059- 4000 BLK Ealy Road- Theft – Police were called about a burglary that occurred after midnight last night. Multiple wallets, ammunition, and sheets were taken from the home.
Night Shift June 8
25-006072-Greenslake Rd/Patton Dr.-Animal Call – A caller reported seeing a vehicle drop a small kitten out of the vehicle and drive away. The kitten then retreated into a storm drain. Police and East Ridge Animal services responded to the scene. Officers were able to go into the drain and retrieve the kitten. The kitten was turned over to ERAS for evaluation and treatment. As of June 9, the kitten was OK and has a wonderful foster family.
Day Shift June 9
25-006087 – 1000 Bass Pro Drive – Theft / Arrest / Warrant Service – Police were informed of a theft in progress with suspects of a previous theft that occurred on 05/28/2025. Officers stopped and detained the subjects and found that one had an outstanding warrant out of East Ridge for theft of property over $1,000. The other was holding a large black bag and was asked what she had inside the bag. She did not want to answer any questions, but officers were able to see footage of her concealing items in the bag. Upon searching the bag, police discovered multiple fishing lures valued at $615.48. Both were taken to Hamilton County Jail for theft of property under $1000.
25-006089 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Well Being Check – Police were dispatched to the fuel center after a passerby noticed a silver Tundra driving with the hood up. Police contacted the driver at pump three. She told officers she wasn’t having a good day and requested to be taken to a hospital for a mental health evaluation. She relocated the truck to a nearby parking space and police gave her a courtesy ride for medical evaluation.
25-006095 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – Police responded to the after employees discovered a pressure washer missing from the sidewalk. Officers observed security footage of a bearded, chubby male pull a pressure washer off the pallet it was strapped down to. The man then placed the pressure washer into the bed of an early 2000’s white single cab Chevy Silverado and got into the passenger side. The truck left the lot and crossed McBrien before it turned eastbound onto Stone Street.
Night Shift June 9
25-006119 – 6000 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Assist Other Agency – Following a traffic stop, a woman was taken into custody for an arrest warrant out of the Hamilton County Sessions Court. She was transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
