Day Shift June 23: A Squad

26-005826- 1500 BLK Heather Street- Burglary – Police spoke with the resident at this address who advised that someone had entered her vehicle in the early morning hours. The resident explained nothing was taken but the unknown individual left a shirt, paper towels, a golf ball, and sunglasses.

26-005835- 5700 BLK Roper Street- Well-Being Check – Police responded to the apartments regarding a female yelling at people in the middle of the road. Police located the female at building H and asked if she needed help. The female advised she was fine and didn’t need assistance.

26-005840, 26-005841- 6700 BLK Ringgold Road- Theft – Police responded to the consignment shop regarding an alleged theft. Police spoke with one of the stall owners who stated a male came to her booth on June 4th and June 17th and stole comic books. Police were given videos of the suspect and a vehicle tag. The investigation is ongoing.

26-005824 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Burglary of Auto – Restaurant employees stated a male left without paying for his pie. Prior to him leaving the property, he entered an employee’s unlocked Acura MDX before fleeing on foot. Police located the man in front of a hotel. He was taken into custody for Burglary and Public Intoxication. Management requested him to be banished from the property. He was advised of the trespass. The subject was also linked to the auto burglary on Heather Street.

26-005839 – 500 BLK Bacon Trail – Animal Call / Back Up ERAS – ERAS requested ERPD standby while they attempted to contact a dog owner for a wellbeing check. They had received multiple complaints that a dog was left outside for extended periods of time. ERAS wanted to verify if the animal has access to shelter and water. Animal Services could not contact the owner.

26-005830 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Deceptive Practice – The shop reported an unknown male entered the store and made three separate purchases with a stolen debit card. The card-owner was also on scene. Pending identification of the suspect, a warrant will be taken out for Fraudulent Use of a Debit Card.

Night Shift June 23: C Squad

26-005853 – 500 BLK South Moore Road – Missing Adult Not Endangered – A man reported that his domestic partner was missing. He stated that she had a history of illegal drug use and had also gone missing during a previous incident. He had checked around his house and a couple of local motels, but the woman was not located. An officer called the party’s phone and there was no answer. The woman was entered into NCIC as missing.
