Law and Order June 3

The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department.

Day Shift June 2: B Squad

26-005108- 800 BLK South Germantown Road- Assault – Police responded to a civil dispute that turned physical when the suspect shoved two members of a contract tree cutting service. The party was arrested on two counts of simple assault.

26-005118 – 3900 BLK South Mission Oaks Drive – Deceptive Practice – A party reported being the target of a scammer using Publisher’s Clearing House as a ruse. According to the party, the subjects contacted him multiple times attempting to have him send funds to gain millions…and a new truck. The caller stated he was too savvy to fall for the deception but would like ERPD to post about this scam on their social media pages.

26-005120 – 700 South Moore Road – Arrest/Assist Other Agency – A man was taken into custody for Driving Without a License after it was learned he had an administrative warrant through I.C.E. The subject was transported to the jail without incident.

26-005056 – 5300 BLK Lazard Street – Warrant Service – A woman was taken into custody for a warrant for Domestic Assault. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident. The conditions of release were later served to the victim.

Night Shift June 2: D Squad

26-005123 – I-75 S MM 1 – Check for Hazard – A motorist reported seeing what appeared to be a severed leg on the shoulder of the interstate. Police checked the area thoroughly, but no dismembered body parts were located.

26-005127 – 700 Block South Seminole Drive– Shots Fired – Officers responded to the above location for a report of shots fired. Patrol spoke with several citizens who stated they heard the shots. Officers canvassed the area and did not locate any injured people or damaged property.

26-005132-700 BLK Bacon Trail-Suspicious Activity – A caller reported an unknown female was in the parking lot in the bed of a black truck. On scene, police spoke with the female, who stated she was helping someone move into an apartment. Officers went to the apartment to verify the information and located three other parties in the apartment that was alleged to be vacant by the caller. Police were able to speak with the owner of the apartment and found that the individuals were permitted to be at the residence.
