Day Shift May 13: B Squad

26-004387-6700 BLK Ringgold Road-Shots Fired – Police were dispatched to the 6700 block of Ringgold Road on a report of shots fired. Officers checked the area and surrounding businesses, and no signs of shots being fired were located.

26-004399-5400 BLK Connel Street-Suspicious Activity – A concerned neighbor reported to police that several homeless parties were staying in the condemned property at the listed address. Officers did not locate anyone on the property. The reporting party stated that the individuals mainly stayed at the property in the late evening hours.

Night Shift May 13: D Squad

26-004413 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A man was taken into custody during a traffic stop with Chattanooga Police for a Forfeiture Capias warrant through East Ridge with the original charge of felony theft.

26-004416 – 5400 BLK Connell Street – SIA – Police checked for squatters at a property that appeared to be abandoned. No squatters were initially observed.

26-004417 – 5400 BLK Connell Street – Suspicious Person / Field Interview – An anonymous source reported seeing a flashlight at the abandoned residence immediately after police departed the abandoned property located on Connell Street. Police returned and discovered a local transient. A Field Interview was performed, and the man was advised not to return to the abandoned structure. The owner was unreachable.

26-004420 – 5500 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – Police responded to reports of a homeless person going through garbage at the Coin Laundry. The man identified himself and was issued a verbal warning about going through garbage receptacles in the city.

He was among reporters who were honored by the Associated Press for the TFP's coverage of the 2002 fog-shrouded crash on I-75 in Catoosa County, Dick and his wife, Cathy, live on Marlboro Avenue where they are seen frequently chasing around their three grandsons.
