Law and Order Oct. 1

Day Shift September 30: Bravo Team

26-009437-4300 BLK Spriggs Street-Drug Overdose/Arrest/Search Warrant – Police responded to the listed address for a possible overdose and found the intoxicated male resident inside his bedroom. Drug paraphernalia was in plain view. ERPD had responded to the home several times in the past few days on similar incidents. The man actively resisted officers when they attempted to detain him and he had to be taken down to the ground to handcuff him. The party was transported to Hamilton County jail and booked for Resisting. Officers then obtained a search warrant for the man’s room inside the residence due to repeated overdose calls at the residence and the plain view paraphernalia. The search warrant produced several pieces of drug paraphernalia, six grams of methamphetamine, 6.6 grams of fentanyl and several pieces of drug paraphernalia. Arrest warrants are pending for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Fentanyl, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

26-009438 – 1000 BLK McBrien Road – Miscellaneous – A man reported that he called the phone number he saw on a billboard for a home buyer to inquire about selling his home but was disconnected after the other party answered. He advised he also attempted to call another phone number associated with the business and received no answer, which he believed was suspicious.

26-009441- 900 BLK Belvoir Avenue- Domestic Assault – Police responded to the above location after two callers reported observing a male and a female involved in a physical altercation. Following a brief investigation, the man was taken into custody and charged with Domestic Assault.

Night Shift September 30: Delta Team

26-009449- 3200 BLK Ringgold Road-MVC/Entrapment/DUI Arrest – Police responded to this location after a vehicle hit another vehicle and flipped onto its side. East Ridge Fire extracted the driver. After an investigation, the driver was arrested and charged with DUI and the due care law. She was transported to Hamilton County Jail without issues.

26-009454 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – A man was taken into custody on full extradition warrants out of Kentucky after his behavior in front of store employees made them uncomfortable. He was criminally trespassed from the business and transported to Hamilton County Jail for extradition.

26-009457-1100 BLK South Seminole Drive- MVC No Injuries/DUI Arrest – Police responded to this location after a reporting party called and stated that an unknown male had possibly crashed in his yard and was asking the homeowner to let him inside. Police arrived on scene and detained the driver. After an investigation, the man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
