Day Shift October 4: Alpha Team

26-009564 – 400 BLK McBrien Road – Suspicious Activity – Employees advised an older male came into the clinic and requested a test to determine if he had fentanyl in his system. He allegedly advised that he keeps his meth in his refrigerator and suspects someone laced his meth with fentanyl. He had taken two doses of meth earlier in the morning, and that he was currently in possession of meth. Employees told him to seek treatment at the Emergency Room. Police were unable to locate the man at either ER in the city.

26-009572 – 3700 BLK Fountain Avenue – Noise Complaint – Police responded in reference to a screaming child. Upon arrival, officers spoke with two young juveniles (male and female) that had been arguing over the last juice that got spilled on the couch. Neither child appeared injured. Their mother was on scene cleaning the kitchen. She also appeared uninjured. The children agreed not to yell anymore or continue disturbing their neighbors.

26-009574 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – The caller reported that she accidentally left some of her groceries at checkout. When she returned, they were gone. Police reviewed security camera footage and observed a middle-aged female with gray hair wearing a pink long sleeve shirt and blue jeans take the groceries after paying for her own.

26-009562 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Civil Matter – A man and woman were involved in a verbal disorder over child custody. Police advised both parties that this was a civil matter, and they would need to contact lawyers for advice on how to handle the situation further. Both asked for a report to document the encounter. A miscellaneous report was completed.

Night Shift October 4: Charlie Team

26-009588 – 1500 BLK Prigmore Rd – Disorder with a Weapon / Criminal Trespass – Police responded to a disorder with a weapon. Dispatch advised that a male was outside of the residence with a weapon but was unable to tell what kind of weapon. Police located a man, who matched the description the reporting party saw, and immediately detained him. He did not have any weapons on his person but did admit to a firearm in the vehicle. The reporting party stated the suspect and her daughter have a violent past and are currently going through a breakup. The resident stated she knew he always carried a firearm and did not know what his intentions were. The man was released and criminally trespassed from the property.

26-009593- 1300 BLK Ridgefield Circle – Traffic Crash / Hit and Run – Police responded to a hit-and-run involving a parked East Ridge patrol vehicle on Ridgefield Circle. The suspect vehicle was located on Cecil Lane after officers followed fluid from the crash scene. A man was identified as the owner of the suspect vehicle.
