While speaking with Police, she disclosed she and her ex-boyfriend were involved in an unreported domestic assault on East Brainerd Road earlier in the day. Police observed multiple injuries that supported her assault claims. Due to the seriousness of the situation, ERPD Officers remained with the woman to ensure her safety while an Officer with the Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) responded to the location. The CPD Officer found probable cause for a Domestic Assault charge against the suspect. ERPD and CPD Officers then went to South Clayton Avenue, but the suspect was not found in the residence. The party collected her property and went to a safe location. Chattanooga Police are pursuing an arrest warrant for Domestic Assault.

25-010854 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Arrest Warrant Hold – Police Officers with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department located a party and determined she had four verified warrants through the City of East Ridge. 25-010859 – 3100 BLK Ringgold Road – Roadway Closure – Police Officers responded to the report of a tractor trailer stuck in the Bachman Tunnels. ERPD located a commercial truck halfway down the westbound chute. Due to technical issues with the vehicle, a Trooper with the Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to the location and assisted ERPD Officers. The westbound lanes of Ringgold Road were shut down for approximately one hour while the truck was removed from the tunnel. The driver of the commercial truck was cited for several traffic violations to include Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device.
