Law and Order October 9

Day Shift October 8 : A Squad

25-010631 – 5300 BLK Stone Street – Animal Cruelty – Police responded to the East Ridge Animal Shelter after a citizen brought in a young white and tan dog that he stated he found leashed to a stop sign at S Moore Road & Maryland Drive. The party said he found the dog last night around 1900 hours and brought her home until he could bring her to the shelter. ERAS took possession of the dog.

25-010638 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – A party was arrested on an outstanding East Ridge Forfeiture Capias for Driving on Revoked for DUI while at Hamilton County Jail.

25-010627 – 3600 BLK Helen Lane – Assist Other Agency – Officers responded to assist Chattanooga Police in locating an assault suspect. On scene, the suspect was observed leaving in a vehicle and a traffic stop was conducted. CPD declined to interview the suspect for their charges, and he was released from the scene. A report was completed for an alleged assault that occurred within the city limits of East Ridge, but a primary aggressor could not be determined.

25-010623 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Vehicle – Police were notified about a vehicle that had been parked at the entrance of a business for approximately one hour. Witnesses informed officers that no one had entered or exited the vehicle during that time. Upon approaching the vehicle, officers made contact with two occupants, who stated they had been discussing Dungeons & Dragons (DND) and had lost track of time.

Night Shift October 8: C Squad

25-010649 – 1300 BLK Boyd Street – Harassment – The caller reported that another party had texted him earlier in the day which violated an Order of Protection through Hamilton County. Police found the protection order was valid and submitted evidence to the Hamilton County Magistrate. An arrest warrant for the party will be generated through Hamilton County Chancery Court for Contempt of an Ex Parte Order of Protection.

25-010650 – 200 BLK Eads Street – Residential Fire – Police Officers responded with Fire Department units to a possible electrical fire. Police Officers blocked the roadways while fire inspectors isolated the electrical issue and prevented further damage.

25-010653 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Disorder / Arrest – Police Officers responded to a Disorder. On scene, Police found that a party had assaulted someone before taking off on foot. Police located the party walking southbound on Spring Creek Road and arrested him. The party was non-compliant with Police instructions until he was booked for Simple Assault at the Hamilton County Jail.

25-010654 – 4300 BLK Bennett Road – Burglar Alarm / Fire Alarm – Police Officers and Fire Department units responded to multiple alarms. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the false alarms were triggered by a fault in the security system.
