Day Shift September 11: B Squad
26-008779 – 200 BLK Eads Street – Disorder with a Weapon – Following an altercation with a tenant’s sister at building #3, a female suspect was reported to have fired one round at two apartment employees and a tenant before leaving the area in a green 2008 Nissan Altima. Four warrants for Aggravated Assault have been sought for her arrest.
26-008776-Exit One I75 Northbound-Suspicious Person/Arrest – A party was taken into custody for obstructing a roadway and criminal impersonation after a concerned citizen reported a female subject was walking up the I75 North exit ramp.
Night Shift September 11: D Squad
26-008808 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road- Check Wellbeing – ERPD responded to the drive through area after an employee was concerned about a female in a blue skirt and pink tank top. This was the second call officers received about this female. An officer saw the female spoke with her. She was not impaired or a danger to herself or the public, just homeless and wandering around.
Day Shift September 12: B Squad
26-008810-26-008820- 4100 BLK Ringgold Road- Shoplifting – Police received a casefile with ten different shoplifting cases from the business. Each incident was from a different day but involved the same suspect from a previous case on 8/25/2026. With technology assistance associated with surveillance cameras, loss prevention was able to locate various occurrences with the same suspect. Warrants for theft are being sought.
26-008828- McBrien Road/ Ringgold Road- Traffic Control – Police assisted with traffic control throughout the city due to a major wreck on I-75 South causing increased traffic on Ringgold Road. A storm damaged several transformers, and a semi-truck struck a traffic control device, causing multiple traffic signals to become inoperable.
26-008829 – 600 BLK South Sanctuary Road – Citizen Assist – Police responded to this residence after the elderly owner reported issues with their water heater leaking. ERPD assisted the party with turning off the water until they could have a plumber fix the issue.
Night Shift September 12: D Squad
NO CASE#- 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway- Animal Call – A caller reported a white duck had a fishing lure in its beak. Police responded but were unable to catch the duck to remove the lure.
26-008837-6700 BLK Ringgold Road-MVC No Injuries/Arrest – A man was arrested and charged with driving without a valid license and violation of the due care law after a motor vehicle crash.
26-008845-5300 BLK State Line Road-MVC No Injuries/DUI Arrest – The reporting party stated that a suspect struck a utility pole and fled the scene on foot while carrying a case of beer. The reporting party further stated that subject threw the case of beer into the roadway, fell into a ditch, and continued running. Police located the man and charged him with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, and littering.
26-008846 – 6000 BLK Ringgold Road – MVC No Injuries/DUI Arrest – Officer responded to the above address in reference to a motor vehicle crash involving a Ford Taurus and a Ford Edge. Following an investigation, a man was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
26-008849 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/Narcotics Arrest – An ERPD Officer conducted a traffic stop on a 2023 Kia Rio with dark window tint and prior knowledge of the driver having a suspended driver’s license. The officer saw drug paraphernalia in plain view and conducted a probable cause search. The officer located methamphetamine, Fentanyl, Xanax bars, Xanax peach pills, Valium, Klonopin, Scales, Corner baggies, and utensils used to measure illegal narcotics. The driver was placed in custody and taken to the Hamilton County Jail.
