Day Shift September 24: A Squad
26-009236- 5300 BLK Clemons Road- Disorder – Two women were engaged in a verbal argument which escalated when both parties struck each other with closed fists. Police will not be seeking charges at this time due to not being able to determine the primary aggressor in the disorder. One woman was released while the other was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail for a warrant out of Hamilton County Sessions Court.
26-009233- 5300 BLK Anderson Avenue- Disorder with a Weapon – The caller stated an unknown male wearing a black shirt and black pants approached her in the woods and told her she could not be on the property. She stated the man was holding his phone in one hand and a red and black pistol in the other. The woman stated the unknown male never pointed the gun at her.
26-009223 – Cecil Lane – Warrant Service – A man was taken into custody on his GA warrants for Simple Battery FVA and Cruelty to Children 1st Degree (F). He was transported to Hamilton County Jail to await extradition.
Night Shift September 24: C Squad
26-009252 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Burglary – Police responded to the hotel where an employee, who lives in one of the rooms, had found a female in his room without his permission. He chased the female out of the room, and when he returned, discovered his cell phone and multiple cards were had been taken. The woman was identified as a tenant of the hotel but was not on scene at the time when the call came out. A few hours later, Police received a call that she had returned to the property and was being followed by hotel staff. Patrol found her across from the scene. She stated that the reporting party did give her permission to be in his room to charge her phone, and that a staff member was there during the conversation. She allowed police to search her personal belongings, and she was not found in possession of any stolen property. At this time, there is not enough information to charge and further investigation will need to be conducted.
