Day Shift September 2: B Squad
26-008461- 5500 BLK Ringgold Road- Pedestrian Struck – Police were called after a truck struck a pedestrian walking across the street in this block range. Police arrived on scene and provided Medical Care until East Ridge Fire and Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services arrived. Police identified the male as Robert Watters and assisted HCEMS in transporting him. He was transported in critical condition, and the crash site was blocked to collect evidence.
26-008462-3900 BLK Bennett Road- Theft – The owner stated that he discovered company equipment was missing the previous day at approximately 0900 hours. He reported approximately $2,600 worth of company tools stolen. At the time of the report, there were no known suspects or investigative leads.
26-008471 – 1000 BLK South Seminole Drive – Disorder – The caller reported he came to the residence to retrieve some property and while doing so, the former occupant of the garage on the bottom of the hill blocked the driveway with his car, preventing his departure. Police spoke with the other half, who claimed he was advised by the owner of the condemned property that no one was allowed at the residence on the hill. Police spoke with codes enforcement, who advised this was inaccurate as no evictions have been executed at this time, and the current residents are allowed to remove their property but cannot reside here. The garage tenant was advised not to impede anyone’s departure or arrival.
26-008473 – 5700 BLK Roper Street- Disorder – Police were dispatched to the above address regarding a verbal disagreement. On scene police spoke with a man who stated his neighbor became irate upon making eye contact. A verbal altercation ensued, culminating with one claiming the other had pulled out a pocketknife and stating his intention to use it to defend himself if attacked. The alleged knife wielder stated that a verbal altercation had occurred but denied having a pocketknife at the time of the disagreement. He stated the other man had followed him, making him fear for his safety. Both parties agreed to keep their distance from one another.
Night Shift September 2: D Squad
26-008481 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road- Narcotics – EPRD conducted a stop on two individuals attempting to deliver an unknown quantity of Marijuana. Officers stopped and placed one in custody.
26-008482-5700 Roper Street-Domestic Disorder – Police responded to this location after the caller reported that his girlfriend had locked him out. On scene, the caller planned on staying at a friend’s house and just needed his belongings. Police assisted in gathering his belongings, and he left the scene.
