Day Shift September 6: A Squad
26-008602- 700 BLK Summit Avenue- Delayed Domestic Assault – The reporting party responded to the police department to report her husband had assaulted her the previous night by punching her in the face and strangling her. Police were unable to observe any marks to determine if an assault had taken place. She was advised on the process to obtain an order of protection.
26-008596 – 5700 BLK Roper Street- Domestic Assault – The male caller reported that his girlfriend “jumped” on him and he wanted her removed from the premises. On scene, police spoke with both parties and observed wounds on each of them. The two parties largely corroborated each other’s stories about getting into a physical altercation. A primary aggressor could not be identified, and both parties agreed to separate. The girlfriend decided to move out of the apartment.
Night Shift September 5: C Squad
26-008613 – 500 BLK Donaldson Road – Disorder Prevention – Police were asked to stand by while the grandson attempted to retrieve his reptile. However, the homeowner was not home, and the grandson was unable to retrieve the snake.
26-008620 – 1400 BLK Saint Thomas Street – Arrest – During routine patrol officers contacted a male sitting in a vehicle in the rear parking lot who provided multiple conflicting room numbers, dates of birth, and ages. He also presented identification he admitted was fraudulent. The male was unable to provide valid identification and was taken into custody for Criminal Impersonation. The fraudulent identification was seized.
26-008616 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – MVC/Arrest – ERPD responded to an MVC with no injuries. Upon arrival ERPD observed the driver of the white SUV slurring her speech and smelled of alcohol. The driver refused to participate in field sobriety tests. She was arrested for DUI and transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
26-008621 – 100 BLK Frawley Road – Domestic Disorder – Officers were dispatched after an intoxicated couple got into a verbal argument that allegedly turned physical after the male half of the couple allegedly pushed the female down. Officers found no evidence to support the claim, and both parties agreed to separate for the night.
26-008612 – 400 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Harassment – Officers were dispatched after a man called saying he was being harassed by an unknown party. He stated that they were tapping on the window of his hotel room. Upon officer arrival, the man claimed he was being paranoid, overreacting and did not want a report. He promptly left.
