Law and Order September 26

Day Shift September 25 : A Squad

25-0010166 – 5800 BLK Ringgold Road – Motor Vehicle Theft – The business manager called to report that a 2025 cargo van had not been returned on the return date of 09/08/2025. The vehicle was entered into NCIC as stolen. NIC: V207150815.

No Complaint Number – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Warrant Service – Police conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle displaying expired registration. The driver was found to have two active warrants with Hamilton County.

25-010159 – 1500 BLK Fruitland Drive – Warrant Service – Police received an LPR hit on a wanted person with an active warrant out of East Ridge. Police initiated a traffic stop on Fruitland Drive. The driver of the vehicle was found to have a warrant for False Reports. He was taken into custody and transported to jail without incident.

25-010161 – 200 BLK Eads Street- Domestic Assault- The reporting party alleged that her child’s father had kicked her and locked her in a bedroom. He denied any physical assault and stated the incident involved only a verbal argument after she confronted him about infidelity. He claimed he attempted to de-escalate the situation by guiding the woman into the bedroom using his body and briefly grabbing her under the armpits. He then held the bedroom door shut for 2–3 minutes to prevent further confrontation. No visible injuries were observed, and she later confirmed that she had not been kicked or hit. She did not want to pursue charges for false imprisonment. The male subject was charged with Domestic Assault and transported to Hamilton County Jail without further incident.

Night Shift September 25: C Squad

25-010177 – 1500 BLK Waterhouse Street – Missing and Endangered Adult – The caller reported her adult daughter as missing. She last saw her daughter leaving school around 1:45 PM. She also reported that the daughter had several mental health concerns. Police checked the surrounding area, but the woman was not located. The subject was entered into NCIC as a missing person.

25-010178 – 300 BLK Spring Creek Road – Assist Other Agency – East Ridge Police Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash with entrapment in Chattanooga. On scene, East Ridge Officers assisted Chattanooga Fire and Police with extracting the vehicle occupants and managing the incident scene. East Ridge Officers remained on scene until additional Chattanooga Officers took over traffic control and investigative responsibilities.

25-010180 – 800 BLK Mchann Drive – Disorder – Police Officers responded to a verbal disorder that was escalating to a physical fight. According to witnesses, approximately ten individuals were arguing in the roadway, but fled in four cars when Police were dispatched to the area. Officers attempted to identify the suspects, but the witnesses became uncooperative and refused to provide additional details. Two hours later, a woman called the Dispatch Center and reported her ex-boyfriend assaulted her during disorder. She did not provide any supporting evidence for the allegations and refused to speak with a Police Officer. No charges have been filed for the incident.

25-010185 – 3700 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Narcotics Violation – Police conducted a traffic stop with a red sedan. While speaking with the driver, the officer observed the odor of marijuana, and a probable cause search located 5.6 grams of marijuana in the center console. The illegal narcotics were seized and labeled for destruction. Both were released from the scene after they were checked for warrants and found not intoxicated.
