May 23 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

May 20 – Day Shift

6401 Ringgold Road (assault):

Jessica Shelton was working the McDonald’s drive-thru window when a customer became irate and threw a drink through the window striking Shelton. The suspect, who then left, is described as a female, 5-feet, 6-inches tall, 125 pounds with shoulder length black hair and a nose ring. The receipt listed her name as Jacey. (22-007152)

5400 block Dupont Street (scam):

The victim applied for an online job with a company that turned out to be a scam. The suspects mailed a check to the victim which she deposited. She then sent money to a third party for supplies which did not arrive. The check was also fake. (22-0007141)

May 20 – Night Shift

730 Germantown Cir. (Stalking 22-007162):

Police were dispatched to this address regarding two tracking devices located under the reporting party’s vehicle. Police recovered and disabled the devices. Shortly after, Mason Franklin went to the residence and was arrested for Stalking, Harassment, and Electronic Tracking of a Motor Vehicle.

1417 ST Saint Thomas Street (Disorder W/ Weapon 22-007173):

A man called 911 stating there was a male with a gun attempting to enter his room at this location. Police quickly arrived on scene but did not observe anyone in the area with a gun or anyone apparently in distress. The man was found to be intoxicated, and it is suspected he is a mental health consumer. Security footage was checked which showed no one around his room at the time of call.

302 Dunlap Ave. (Domestic Assault 22-007170):

John Doe, aka Milton Mendez, was taken into custody for Aggravated Domestic Assault after he strangled his girlfriend for rebuffing his amorous advances. He was also found in possession of a fake TN ID and charged with Criminal Simulation.

May 21 – Day Shift

4214 Ringgold Road (found property):

A woman found various cards believed to have come from a wallet. They were turned in to police and placed into P&E. (22-007182)

607 Marlboro Avenue (found property):

Member of the public located a man’s wallet in the middle of the street. Officers were able to locate the owner and returned it to him. (22-007183)

4214 Ringgold Road (warrant service):

CPD made contact with Laura Roberts in Chattanooga, and she was arrested on multiple East Ridge warrants. (22-007190)

4214 Ringgold Road (violation of Order of Protection):

A woman contacted police after her ex-boyfriend contacted her through social media despite an active Order of Protection. She did not have any proof at the time. (22-007201)

May 21 – Night Shift

4214 Ringgold Rd (Warrant Service 22-007218):

Cody Hill was served with an outstanding East Ridge warrant at the Hamilton County jail.

4307 Fountain Ave (Warrant Service 22-007207):

Justin Clark was taken into custody for multiple East Ridge Forfeiture Capias warrants and a Failure to Appear warrant following a traffic stop.

3900 Ringgold Road (Arrest 22-007219):

Miguel Pascual was taken into custody following a traffic stop for DUI, open container and driving without a driver’s license.

4214 Ringgold Road (Warrant Service 22-007215):

Sherida Smith was arrested on East Ridge Warrants for Alias Capias.

4214 Ringgold Road (Warrant Service 22-007217):

Joshua Simulis was arrested on East Ridge Warrants for Alias Capias.

1100 block McBrien Rd (Domestic Assault 22-007224):

Police responded to a call regarding an intoxicated female honking a horn in the driveway at this address. The female party left the scene before Police arrived but was identified. It was determined she assaulted her younger sister during this incident. Warrants are being sought for Domestic Assault, Disorderly Conduct, and Driving on Revoked for DUI.
