Mission Oaks Candle Lighting Postponed until Tuesday

December 9, 2018 By Dick Cook Leave a Comment

Residents of the Mission Oaks subdivision will continue a long tradition in East Ridge on December 10 with its holiday candle lighting.

The event which was scheduled for Monday has been postponed until Tuesday, Dec. 11, due to inclement weather,  officials with the Mission Oaks Community Club said.

Members of the East Ridge Needy Child Fund will be accepting donations at the main entrance to the subdivision at the West end of Patton Drive.

Officials with the community club are inviting the community to come and view the neighborhood’s festive decorations and join them in caroling at the Mission Oaks sign and help celebrate the holiday season.

In the event of inclement weather, the candle lighting will be held on Tuesday or as soon as the weather permits.
