October 12 Police Briefs

Day Shift October 11, 2022

22-014114- Sewanee Drive- AOA/Residential Fire-

Police were dispatched with ERFD on a residential fire at this location. On scene police stood by while Fire handled the call.

22-014115- Ringgold Road- Found Property-

Police met with a party who wanted to turn a found wallet into police. The wallet contained a TN ID, and 20 USD along with several debit cards associated with the TN ID in the wallet. The wallet and the money were entered in property. Dispatch was able to find a number associated with the ID in the wallet. When police attempted to contact the party, it was and old number.

No number assigned-Missionaire Avenue- Wellbeing Check-

The caller advised of an older male sitting in the roadway. On scene police discovered the male suffered from mental illness. He was picked up by a caregiver.

22-014120-McBrien Road- Vehicle Burglary-

The caller advised his vehicle had been entered and items were missing. The victim advised between the hours of 0430 and 0830 hours on today’s date an unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked Chevrolet. He advised the suspect(s) took medication, a flashlight, and an ASPL 48 LED roof top light from his center console. There are no cameras available for possible suspect information

Extra Watch- Lomenick Cemetery-

The caretaker requested an extra patrol due to homeless people staying there overnight. They have been setting campfires on the property.

Night Shift October 11-12, 2022

22-014142– Mack Smith Road–Animal call-

Police responded to this address to investigate a claim of animal cruelty. After investigating police found no signs of abuse.

22-014153, 22-013156- 900 Spring Creek Road- Traffic Stop-

Edward Bales was taken into custody following a traffic stop at this location. Bales was found to have two active warrants out of East Ridge along with being in possession of fentanyl. Bales was subsequently charged with criminal impersonation after initially providing police with his cousin’s information.

22-014159- 7609 Standifer Gap Road- Arrest-Warrant-

Keyton Jamal Allen was arrested on a Alias Capias warrant for Driving on Revoked. Allen was at Silverdale Detention Center when the warrant was executed.

22-014160- Spring Creek Road- Missing Endangered-

Hospital staff at Parkridge East Hospital called police after a patient walked out of the hospital with only a purple gown and socks on. The patient had a CON and was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. Officers located the patient on the sidewalk in front of Hardy’s after receiving multiple calls regarding a male walking around in a hospital gown. The patient was transported back to Parkridge East Hospital without incident.
