Police Briefs for Jan. 13

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

Jan. 11 Day Shift

3452 Ringgold Road (aggravated assault)

The complainant was at the Qik’n’EZ when a man he knows as “Cam” drove by. The unknown passenger in Cam’s vehicle pointed a Glock at the complainant as the car drove by. (22-000473)

4321 Ringgold Road (criminal trespass)

A homeless male, identified as Joshua Lawrence Henry, accumulated an $18 bar tab at Lively’s, but when he attempted to pay with his credit card it was found to have zero dollars on it. The employee at the business requested Henry be criminally trespassed for lack of payment. (22-000474)

3400 block Betty Lane (deceptive practice)

The reporting party reported being scammed out of approximately $300 after being contacted by a hacked social media account of an acquaintance. The acquaintance “referred” the victim to a male party with a foreign accent, who claimed he was helping people obtain federal grants. The suspect requested the victim purchase an Apple gift card and then take a picture of the verification number and text it to him. The victim also provided the subject with her driver’s license information. (22-000476)

Night Shift

1517 Tombras Ave (Warrant Service 22-000480)

Sarah Prather was taken into custody at East Ridge City Court on an outstanding East Ridge warrant and transported to the jail.

4214 Ringgold Rd (AOA 22-000483)

A female came to ERPD to report a rape. It was determined that the incident occurred in Chattanooga. Chattanooga PD responded to take primary on the investigation.

4214 Ringgold Rd (Warrant Service 22-000505)

Kayla Walling was taken into custody by HCSO on an outstanding East Ridge warrant during a traffic stop and transported to the jail.

1503 Ringgold Rd (Warrant Arrest 22-000508)

Brandi Gaston was taken into custody on East Ridge warrants and transported to Silverdale.

1517 Tombras Ave (Warrant Service 22-000487)

Oscar Salazar was taken into custody at East Ridge City Court on an East Ridge warrant for Petition to Revoke (Driving on Revoked).

3600 Old Ringgold Road (Arrest 22-000502)

Following a traffic stop at this location, Damon Payne was taken into custody for possession of a stolen license plate and possession of methamphetamine. Payne was issued multiple traffic citations as well.

3600 Old Ringgold Road (Arrest 22-000504)

While conducting a traffic stop at this location, the passenger, Ava Spates was taken into custody for active Hamilton County warrants.

1503 McDonald Road (Arrest 22-000511)

Following a traffic stop at this location, Timothy Reese was taken into custody for active warrants out of Georgia. After obtaining consent to search the vehicle, Miranda Howland was arrested for possession of heroin.  

3657 Ringgold Road (Warrant Service 22-000507)

Tiffany Roberts was arrested at the Cascades Motel on multiple East Ridge warrants. She was taken into custody and transported to Silverdale without incident.
