Police Briefs for Jan. 5

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

Jan. 3 Day Shift

22-000123- 1039 Hibbler Circle- Found Property

The resident called to advise she found items on her property that do not belong to her.  She gave a bag containing various woman’s clothing items and a purse that contained various makeup items, and a wallet with a Tennessee ID belonging to Breanna J.  She stated the property was abandoned between the hours of 0230 and 0645 this date. When police examined the wallet they found an insurance card of a person who resided nearby. Police relocated to that address to attempt to return the property but no parties that reside at that location answered the door.  Police collected the items, inventoried them, and placed them into the property and evidence room for safe keeping.

22-000121- 100 block of Kingwood Drive- Road Hazard

The caller advised there were several concrete blocks in the roadway.  Police moved some of the debris and notified the street department.

22-000126- 1558 Cora Drive- Open Door

The caller advised the front door of the residence was open and it did not appear occupants were home. On scene police checked the house and secured the door. The homeowners were not located.

22-000128- 1417 Saint Thomas Street- Citizen Assist

The caller requested a police escort while inspecting room 124 due to the occupants being arrested yesterday.  Management inspected the room without incident.

22-000132- 3655 Shirl Jo Lane- Back EMS

Police were dispatched on an EMS call at this location.  Police stood by while EMS handled the call. The patient was transported to the hospital.

No number assigned- 3519 Cathy Lane- AOA

Dispatch requested police check the area for a silver Nissan Versa involved in a hit and run in Chattanooga.  Police did not locate the vehicle.

22-000134- 1417 Mack Smith Road- Theft

The caller advised sometime on 1-1-22 an unknown suspect stole a patient’s medication. It is unknown at this time whether the medication was stolen or misplaced.

 Night Shift

22-000143 901 Mount Belvoir Drive / Theft

Police took a report for the theft of a computer from a vehicle at this location over the weekend. Police have no suspects at this time. Report on file.
