July 13 Day Shift
3936 Ringgold Road (theft):
An unknown male placed several packages of meat under his shirt and attempted to walk out of Save-a-lot when he was confronted by a store employee. The suspect refused to return the items and drove off in a red VW with a tan top. (21-009991)
941 Spring Creek Road (intoxicated person):
Hospital staff called police after a heavily intoxicated Heath Reynolds became combative with staff while being treated. Reynolds was cleared by the physician and arrested for public intoxication. (21-009993)
4150 block Monroe Street (inappropriate behavior):
A female subject filed a police report after an unknown male approached her inside Walmart and attempted to hug her and touch her buttocks. She did not want to pursue prosecution. (21-010005)
4214 Ringgold Road (warrant service):
Patrick William Cody was served with three narcotics forfeiture capiases while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail. (21-009999)
4150 Monroe Street (theft):
Asset Protection reported an unknown juvenile male stole approximately $15 in miscellaneous merchandise and then ran from the store towards Jenkin’s Buffet. The suspect was described as approximately 6’2, with a short haircut and a red short-sleeved shirt with the number “23” on it, with light-colored jeans and a camo backpack. (21-010001)
3700 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-010010):
Police responded to reports of a road rage incident in the 3700 block of Ringgold Road. Officers eventually made contact with the vehicles in the 600 block of South Germantown Road. Johnathon Johnson was taken into custody for two counts of aggravated assault after pointing a realistic looking toy pistol at two adult females.
6727 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-010012):
Joshua Boyd was taken into custody for driving while revoked for DUI, no insurance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of hydrocodone and possession of drug paraphernalia.
1500 Keeble St (Pedestrian Struck 21-010013):
Police responded with Fire and EMS on a 10-year-old male juvenile struck by a vehicle. The child suffered apparent minor injury but was transported by EMS to the hospital for evaluation. The vehicle, a silver Toyota, fled south on Keeble towards Georgia.
5611 Clemons (Domestic Assault/Arrest 21-010015):
A very intoxicated Kayla League was taken into custody for domestic assault. The male victim had multiple red marks, scratches and a torn shirt from an alleged assault by League.
5401 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-010024):
Kelly Vaughn was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia after being located by police on the sidewalk of First Horizon Bank in a semi-conscious state.
1600 Prater Rd (Arrest 21-010027):
Jerry Shirley was taken into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine.
3200 Gleason Dr (Arrest 21-010028):
Derrick McClain was arrested for possession of schedule VI for resale and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police located over eight ounces of suspected marijuana and numerous items to facilitate marijuana sales in his vehicle during a traffic stop. The vehicle was towed to the East Ridge impound lot pending a seizure hearing.
