The following information was compiled from “pass along” reports provided by the administration of the East Ridge Police Department.
July 6 Day Shift
6728 Ringgold Road (auto theft):
The service manager at Camping World reported the theft of a 40-foot Winnebago Tour RV which was stolen from the service lot around 0000 hrs. July 4th. The suspects cut the locks on the fence and drove it out. The vehicle was entered into NCIC. (22-009573)

Night Shift
South Germantown/ Ringgold (traffic 22-009595):
CPD had a tractor trailer jackknife on the ridgecut. Semi-trucks diverted to East Ridge unknowing there was a tunnel causing a traffic hazard for an hour or more.
4214 Ringgold Road (Warrant Service 22-009600):
Christopher Gann was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant for Probation Capias.
4214 Ringgold Road (Warrant Service 22-009599):
Ronald Baldwin was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant for Probation Capias – FTA.
5700 block Roper Street (Disorder 22-00009611):
Police were called to this location in response to a Disorder. While in route it became suspected that an assault may be taking place before the line disconnected. On scene police were unable to make contact at the door but located the possible victim’s vehicle in front of the apartment. After speaking with neighbors police determined that entry to the apartment would need to be made to check the wellbeing of the occupants. Police were able to obtain a key from maintenance and upon unlocking the door, observed it to be latched from the inside indicating that it was still occupied. Police forced entry and located the suspected victim and suspect inside the apartment. After multiple conflicting stories were given, police were unable to determine a crime had been committed and separated the parties for the evening.
1410 Mack Smith Rd room 4213 (auto theft 22-009608):
Police were called here for an auto theft. While on scene taking the report, police found the suspects inside the vehicle in question. The victim declined to prosecute for the theft, report on file.
I75 SB Exit 1 (crash/ warrant svc. 22-009593):
During a vehicle crash investigation, dispatch informed officers that one of the drivers had an active warrant out of Georgia and they would extradite. The driver was issued a traffic citation and then transported to Silverdale.
300 Dunlap Ave (Suspicious Activity 22-009613):
Police responded to this address twice after a female resident reported seeing a black truck and hearing a male voice outside of her home. Police checked the area both times but were unable to locate anything.
