Day Shift June 14
24-007626 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road, Parkridge Hospital – Disorder – ER staff requested ERPD when a former patient became argumentative with the staff, then began arguing with himself. The area was checked but this person was not located
24-007648 – 4400 BLK Bennett Road – Traffic Stop Arrest – ERPD attempted a traffic stop in the 4400 block of Bennett Road as the Lexus turned right onto Dugan Street. The operator refused to stop and proceeded, albeit at low speed, despite passing many areas suitable for a traffic stop. The Lexus turned right again into an apartment complex and still did not stop until the very back of the complex. The operator was taken into custody at that time. His driving privileges were found to be revoked. The vehicle was also uninsured.
24-007631 – 6600 BLK Stateline Road – Animal Bite – Police spoke with the victim of the animal bite who stated he was bit by his neighbor’s German Shepherds while he was attempting to mow his lawn. He was asked if he would like to be treated by EMS and refused. The German Shepherds were placed in their kennels prior to police arrival. Animal Services was contacted and cited the dog owner.
24-007643 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A man was served with a Capias Petition to Revoke for Aggravated Domestic Assault after surrendering himself at the police department with a bondsman.
Night Shift June 14
24-007652 – 1500 BLK Waterhouse Street – Suspicious Person – A passerby reported a woman in a wheelchair waving a gun at this address. Police located the woman in front of her home holding an airsoft pistol. Officers found a neighborhood child gave her the gun and asked her to fix it.
24-007660 — 1000 BLK Greens Lake Road – Narcotics Violation – Following a traffic stop for a seatbelt violation, a woman was arrested and charged with possession of fentanyl, possession of gabapentin, possession of marijuana, possession of a legend drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
24-007665 – 3800 BLK Kingwood Circle – Domestic Disorder – Police responded to a verbal disorder between a man and his family at this address. Officers found that he had a Probation Capias for Domestic Assault through Sessions Court. He was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-007666- 4200 BLK Greenbriar Road — Back Other Agency – The Walker County Sherriff’s Office requested assistance in locating a male suspect at this address. He was wanted for stabbing his girlfriend’s father and he fled the scene in a white 1995 Lexus. East Ridge Police checked the residence but did not locate the man or his vehicle.
24-007669 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road — Public Intoxication – Police observed a suspicious Honda Civic parked next to the motel. The officer found a man passed out in the driver’s seat and unresponsive to physical stimuli. EMS responded and transported him to a local hospital. An arrest warrant is pending or Public Intoxication.
Day Shift June 15
24-007690 – 4300 BLK Esterbrook Drive – Disorder – Officers responded to reported text threats to shoot someone. Police spoke with the woman who stated no threats were made. Rather, she stated she had told the complainant she was going to Chattanooga Police Department to report an ongoing civil matter between the three parties. Officers found no proof a threat was made and advised the complainant to call if the matter progressed.
Night Shift June 15
24-007694 — 1100 BLK Chippewah Drive – Suspicious Activity – Following a hit and run crash in the 1100 BLK of South Seminole Drive, police located the suspect vehicle at a residence on Chippewah. A man admitted to driving the vehicle and leaving the scene of the crash. Drug paraphernalia was also found inside the vehicle. Warrants are being sought pending further investigation.
24-007704 – 5300 BLK Matthews Drive – Warrant Service – Police responded to an unknown 911 call and found a man walking in the area. He had called 911 because he was having issues in his personal life. The party was found to have an active Capias through East Ridge with an original charge of possession of Schedule II.
24-007707 – 1200 BLK S Seminole Drive – Suspicious Activity – Police observed two males in a church parking lot just before midnight. The officer approached the individuals and determined they were both highly intoxicated. Both were arrested for public intoxication and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-007711 – 3100 BLK Bimini Place– Shots Fired – A party reported an unknown individual fired two rounds near her apartment at approximately 2300 hours. She had waited until 0500 hours to report the incident. Police also found that she was associated with two individuals arrested earlier in the shift for public intoxication. Officers checked the area and located a single .40 CAL casing. No damage or injuries were reported. Police also found there were no other reports of shots fired in the area. The .40 CAL casing was placed in the ERPD Property and Evidence Room.
Day Shift June 16
24-007713 – 400 BLK McBrien Road – Criminal Trespass – A gold Chevrolet Suburban was discovered parked behind the business with the driver who had been previously trespassed from this location on 06/14/2024. He was placed into custody for Criminal Trespass and transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
Night Shift June 16
24-007746 – 3600 BLK Shirl Jo Lane – Assist Other Agency – CPD requested police to attempt contact with a woman at this residence due to her car being parked at someone’s residence in Chattanooga. The residence was vacant. CPD was notified of such.
Day Shift June 17
24-007750 4214 Ringgold Road- Mental Health Consumer- Police were summoned to the office to speak with a female in the lobby regarding an unknown person hacking her phone and listening to her conversations. Officers spoke with the female. She could not show the presence of any criminal activity.
Night Shift June 17
24-007773 – 3500 BLK Ringgold Road – SIA – Officers contacted three bicyclists riding on the wrong side of the road. After requesting an addition unit to the scene one of the male subjects fled towards a nearby motel where he was taken into custody. A second man was also taken into custody for possession of schedule II and possession of drug paraphernalia. The initial party was taken into custody for criminal impersonation, evading arrest, and resisting stop, halt, frisk. He was also found to have a federal warrant for his arrest from the U.S. Marshal’s Service.
24-007778 – 6000 BLK Ringgold Road – Field Interview – An officer observed a bicyclist riding along Ringgold Road with no headlights after sunset. The bicyclist had a non-extraditable warrant out of Georgia. He appeared sober and cooperative. Police advised him to put a light on his bicycle when riding after sunset. FI – 24-000113.
