Police Briefs for May 19

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

May 17 Day Shift

4150 Ringgold Road (theft):

An employee with Walmart Neighborhood Grocery reported the theft of a store-based cell phone used by associates for inventory by an unknown suspect who attempted to redeem the phone in a used cell phone disposal kiosk before leaving with the item. The suspect was observed to be a male, approximately 5’10, wearing a black Adidas hoody with white lettering and white stripes and multi-colored shorts (22-006958)

1800 Prigmore Road (arrest):

Police got out with a suspicious male who identified himself as John Land. An active warrant came back for a John Land at which time the suspicious male admitted to providing his brother’s name. The suspect was then properly identified as Jesse Land who was then arrested for two active warrants and criminal impersonation. (20-006969)

4214 Ringgold Road (warrant service):

CPD contacted ERPD after encountering a Charles McPherson at the scene of a DOA. McPherson was arrested on two active East Ridge warrants and taken to jail. (22-006957)

Night Shift

1410 Mack Smith Road (Disorder 22-006995):

Following a disorder at the Budgetel, security requested Kristopher Wright and Mindy Thomas be trespassed from the property.

1410 Mack Smith Rd (Civil Matter 22-006942):

Police responded to the Budgetel in reference to an auto theft, both during this shift and the previous one. The issue was determined to be a civil matter during both responses. Report on file.

323 Camp Jordan Pkwy (Miscellaneous 22-006991):

Police responded to a reported theft from a vehicle at Camp Jordan. Police spoke with the complainant who stated she believed her vehicle was broken into and medication stolen. There were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle. Report was completed for the missing medication.

1503 McDonald Rd (AOA Warrant Service 22-007006):

Police, while conducting a business check at the Waverly Motel, made contact with a male identified as Darren Davis. Davis was found to have a warrant through Hamilton County for burglary. Davis was taken into custody and transported to jail on his warrant.

1517 Tombras Ave (Warrant Service 22-006985):

Zachary Watkins was taken into custody at East Ridge City Court for FTA (DUI) after he showed up late to court.

6514 Ringgold Road (Theft from Vehicle 22-006983):

The complainant reported his wallet stolen from his vehicle at this location. The vehicle was left at this location overnight with the window down.
