Police Briefs for May 24

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

May 22 – Day Shift

1100 block McBrien Road (disorder prevention):

Police responded to the scene of a domestic dispute early this morning. The suspect fled prior to police arrival. She returned this morning to collect her belongings, and police were contacted to help resolve any issues that might arise. However, she had an outstanding warrant out of East Ridge and police transported her to Silverdale. (22-007232)

4154 Ringgold Road (disorder):

Police responded to an unknown disorder at the Smart Bank ATM. The complainant made a deposit at the machine and forgot his card. He immediately returned and saw a woman in a black jeep leaving. He tried to stop her, but she fled the scene. It is unclear if she took the card or the machine ingested the unclaimed card at that time. (22-007238)

1308 West End Avenue (suspicious persons):

Residents on Oakdale Avenue observed two juveniles setting off fireworks as they walked down the street and went to the vacant house at 1308 West End Avenue. Police located the two teenagers, who had already used up the fireworks, and explained fireworks are illegal in East Ridge and discussed the safety concerns from firing them. (22-007241)

4214 Ringgold Road (warrant service):

Chiara O. Graves was arrested on an active East Ridge warrant and taken to jail. (22-003178)

1417 St. Thomas Street (suspicious activity):

Police contacted a male and a female sleeping in a blue Honda Civic in the parking lot of the Motel 6. They were advised to either rent a room or leave the property. (22-007230).

May 22 – Night Shift

1410 Mack Smith Road (Disorder 22-007255):

Police were called to the Budgetel regarding a disorder. Security stated the occupants in room 4301 were being evicted and they would not leave. Due to weather conditions and the time of day, security agreed to have the occupants stay until 7 a.m. to speak with Budgetel management. No further police action taken.

1410 Mack Smith Rd (Missing Juvenile 22-007253):

Police responded to a report of a runaway juvenile. On arrival police met with the caller who was able to locate the juvenile without police assistance.

6514 Ringgold Rd (Suspicious Person 22-007260):

Police responded to a report of a male who had been in the bathroom at Mapco for an extended period of time. Police made contact with the male, Marcel T., who was homeless and sleeping in the bathroom. The business wished for Marcel to be issued a trespass warning. After checking him for warrants he was issued a trespass warning and sent on his way.

3612 Wimberly Ln (Suspicious Activity / Extra Patrol 22-007258):

An unknown female party was observed to back into the residence and ring her doorbell before leaving. The reporting party has requested extra patrol.
