Police Briefs for Nov. 20

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

Nov. 19 Day Shift

I-75 North (arrest):

Police responded to a crash at this location and arrested a John Doe (aka Roberto Rivas Perez) for driving without a license. Perez was transported to jail.

1122 Edwin Lane (warrant service):

Jessie Ervin and  Jacob Stevens were taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail on several warrants.

4214 Ringgold Road (evidence):

A man came to the police department to turn in what he believes is evidence from the overnight hit and run that damaged mailboxes on John Ross Road. A Ford fog light housing was placed into P&E. The part number is from a 2007-10 Ford Edge.

4150 Monroe Street (hit and run):

The resident stated an unknown suspect struck her unoccupied 2007 Nissan Altima while it was in the parking lot. 

1000 Bass Pro Drive (found narcotics):

The manager at Bass Pro turned over a bag containing half of an unknown blue pill.  The pill was taken and placed into ERPD property and evidence.

Night Shift

5301 Ringgold Rd (DUI):

David King was arrested for DUI and driving while revoked following a traffic stop at this location.

6083 Cedar Wood Ct. (Domestic Assault):

Police were called to the residence regarding a disorder.  A woman advised that her stepfather was heavily intoxicated and causing issues inside the home.  He had injuries to his face and head from falling the night prior.  The woman advised that he threatened to slit her throat, and that she was afraid for her life.  He was taken into custody and transported to Parkridge East Hospital to get medical clearance before being transported to the Jail.  While at the hospital, medical staff advised that he would need to be admitted due to his head injuries from his recent fall.  Warrants for domestic assault are pending.  

1708 Mack Smith Rd. (traffic stop):

Following a traffic stop at this location, Jonathan Harris, Lea Hird, John Munoz was taken into custody by Catoosa County Sheriffs Department for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Munoz also had multiple warrants out of Walker County and Hamilton County.

3200 Old Ringgold Rd (Suspicious):

Reporting party stated that a gray sedan was seen parked outside of several closed businesses in the area. Police located the vehicle and found that the driver had a revoked license.  A citation in lieu of arrest was issued.  No other criminal activity was observed.
