Police Briefs for Oct. 26

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

October 23 – Day Shift

4300 block S. Moore Road (warrant service):

Juanidra Sheppard was detained on Hamilton County warrants for vandalism following a traffic stop. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.

4214 Ringgold Road (warrant service):

Hannah Raisler was arrested on East Ridge warrants and taken to jail. (21-015390)

Maple Lane at Germantown Road (warrants):

Starla Harden was arrested on numerous county warrants following a traffic stop and was taken to jail. (21-015396)

October 23 – Night Shift

3800 Ringgold Road (Misdemeanor Citation 21-015408):

Charles McPherson was issued a misdemeanor citation for simple possession following a traffic stop at this location.

5800 Ringgold Rd (DUI 21-015415) :

Terrance Jones was taken into custody for DUI (4th) and Driving on Revoked DUI.

Ringgold Rd / San Hsi Dr (Traffic Stop/Evading 21-015422):

Police attempted a traffic stop on a gray Ford sedan traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on Spring Creek Rd. Police made contact with a similar vehicle parked in the parking lot of a business. The vehicle turned out not to be the suspect vehicle.  A small amount of marijuana was located on the ground next to this vehicle, and the male occupant did not wish to speak to police after being mirandized. He was released from the scene without being charged. The suspect vehicle was not located.

1604 Castleberry Ave (Noise Complaint 21-015415):

More noise complaints on this address of gentleman working on vehicles throughout the night.

6510 Ringgold Rd (Suspicious Activity 21-015416):

Front desk called on a room stating a bunch of foot traffic is going in and out of this room. No contact was made with the occupants of the room. 

6400 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-015421):

A male subject was arrested for driving on revoke for DUI and violating order of protection following at traffic stop at this location.

604 Bacon Trail ( Disorder 21-015426):

Police responded to this residence regarding a disorder with a weapon. Several males were observed to be in an argument when one of the males put a firearm in his pocket. Police were not able to locate the subjects.

3200 Ringgold Rd (Intoxicated Person 21-015420):

Mr. William Jackson approached an officer and confessed to being intoxicated. Jackson’s sister arrived and stated he had jumped from a moving vehicle and refused to re-enter it. Jackson was given the choice to allow his sister to take him home or go to jail for public intoxication. Jackson sat down in the parking lot and requested police take him to jail. His request was granted.

1410 Mack Smith Rd (Evading Arrest 21-015411):

Police made a traffic stop at this location. Joseph Currey fled on foot while the vehicle was still in motion. Officers pursued him on foot and captured him. When Currey fled officers, passenger Zachary Elsea jumped into the driver seat and attempted to flee. He too was captured.

300 Camp Jordan Pkwy (Theft 21-015408):

Police took an auto burglary report from this location. The RP stated while parked at the softball fields an unknown suspect broke their passenger side window and stole a purse.

631 Camp Jordan Pky ( Arrests 21-015425):

Following an alcohol infused disorder at Jonathan’s. Jenicia Brinkley, Carlon Baker and Victoria Ellis were all taken into custody for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. They and a handful of other parties were criminally trespassed.

6513 Ringgold Rd (Evading 21-015423):

Police responded to reports of a fight in the parking lot of the Waffle House. As officers arrived on scene a gray Kia sedan exited the parking lot and nearly struck an officer as he attempted to stop them. The vehicle fled at a high rate of speed westbound on Ringgold Rd. Other officers attempted to intercept and halt the vehicle but were unsuccessful. An attempt was made to utilize spike strips to halt the vehicle, also unsuccessful. The vehicle was last seen in the 3200 block of Ringgold Rd where attempts to stop the vehicle were terminated.

October 24 – Day Shift

5325 Greenbriar Road (DUI 2nd offense):

Randy Aikman was arrested for DUI 2nd, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and tampering with evidence. (21-015428)

3248 Castle Avenue (road hazard tow):

Police had Broome’s Wrecker Service tow an unoccupied black Toyota Tacoma which had been wrecked and left in the curve of the road creating a traffic hazard. The vehicle’s owner may live at this address, but police were unable to make contact. (21-015436)

October 24 – Night Shift

201 Eads St (Auto Burglary 21-015461): 

An unknown suspect shattered the driver side window and entered a blue 2006 Chevy Impala at this location. Nothing was taken, report on file.

700 block Summit Ave (Violation Order of Protection 21-015450) :

Police were dispatched to this location regarding a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival it was determined to be a disorder. Upon obtaining each party’s information it was discovered that a female subject was in violation of a protection order. She was taken into custody for Violation Order of Protection and Disorderly Conduct.
