The South Georgia Tormenta FC downed the Red Wolves, 2-1, Saturday in USL League One play in Statesboro, Ga.

It was the first home win for Tormenta (5-4-5). The loss brought the Red Wolves’ record to 5-8-2.

Jose Carrera Garcia scored for the Red Wolves in the 45th minute knotting the score at 1-1. Juan Galindrez had two strong attacks rejected in the first half.

Gabriel Cabral had the winning goal for Tormenta in the 81st minute.

The Red Wolves will return to CHI Memorial Stadium on Saturday when they host North Carolina FC at 7:30 p.m.
